I wanted to work but
It runs away too hot, even as intended. Extra fans are needed or there is a design flaw.

I had to repair it myself after 1 year of use
Thermostat failed after about 1 year of use.

First one didn't work, had to pay $100 to return it
The first one I ordered didn't work at all, zero chilling. Set it up according to instructions. Had to pay over a hundred dollars to send it back because they don't cover it. Hopefully the replacement works.

Warranty not fully disclosed
Elkay doesn't honor their warranty. They start the warranty process from date of manufactured. Meaning if you buy an Elkay product and it's sitting by distributor for 8 months a1 year warranty ends up only 4 months
