KLEENGUARD™ Maverick Eye Protection

Went to an event where you are required to wear safety glasses essentially the whole day. These were comfortable enough and looked a bit sharper and cooler than your average $1 pair of protective safety glasses. They were borderline on being a bit "tight" on my head, but overall it just meant they were not going to fall off from bending over or quick head movements. Thick frames are in your peripheral vision moreso than other styles but I did not mind. A little plasticy but still a step up from your typical ones like I said. Would buy again.

Lightweight, comfortable, look good. I work for a demolition company and used these for when I was in the shop. Good benchwork glasses but not great. Not the best scratch resistance but for the cost, did a good job. Would purchase again.

These glasses fit well and are lightweight. The lenses are crystal clear and I don't notice the side pieces in my sight. The earpieces are snug, but not tight. Nose pieces are fine. They stay put and are comfortable to wear for hours at a time. I use them for woodworking and wear them for several hours and I don't even notice them. I gave them 5 stars for scratch resistance, but the truth is I don't know for sure. I never wipe my glasses with anything because sawdust will scratch even the best "scratch-proof" lens. I always rinse them under water first.

With a month of professional use including steel work, welding, grinding and just routine jobsite conditions/scenarios while wearing these glasses I can say that they are the best safety glasses on the market that I have tried so far. The lenses have proven to be almost completely fog-resistant (which is always an issue for me) and so far they seem scratch-resistant as well. They fit my gigantic globe-sized head just fine and they are all-day comfortable in my opinion. I will be getting another pair of these when needed.

For the speed reader:Pros: Very comfortable, Feel sturdy and good protectionCons: Not scratch resistant at all, tighter fit(not for larger frame face), fog up really quick and smaller than they lookI needed them because I do part time construction and lapidary work. They do have a tighter fit. I have an average to smaller size had and they fit snug, so if you have a larger head I would not recommend these. Also because of they tighter fit they have a tendency of fogging up, but I think if I use some anti fogging spray or wax that it will fix that issue. The square frame fits my face nicely and feel comfortable on there is rubber on the bridge of the glasses that gives added comfort and grip. I tried a couple scratch tests and failed miserably now do I think they will stop a piece of rock or a wood chip flying at my eye? Yes. In short for for $9 glasses they'll do what they are made to do, but if you are really hard on your glasses and want something that will hold up to a lot of wear and tear I'd look for something else.

Frankly I was tired of cheap, ultimately disposable, safety glasses that all of the local stores seem to carry. These are full framed, have side guards and feel solid. They aren't huge on my face either... it's like wearing normal eye glasses. And I like the vintage 50's look to them. Great glasses for the price.
