The Best Stainless-Steel Spatula on the Market
This review is for WÜSTHOF Gourmet 6.5" Offset Slotted Spatula Silver/Black. I have two of these now, and I have been using them for years. This is the best spatula that I have ever used. It is very sturdy and thin. It is very easy to get under any item that you are cooking, even foods that are stuck to the pan. Food also slides off without a problem too. The of the spatula is tapered, so I have even been able to cut items in the pan while cooking too. Admittedly, this is an expensive spatula, but if taken care of it, it should last a lifetime, so I was willing to invest in it. There are some alternative brands out there that do almost as good for a significantly lower price though. Originally, I had just one of these, but there were a number of times where I needed two, so I purchased a second one.Side Note:Since this is a metal spatula, you should never use it on non-stick cookware. You need plastic spatulas for those.

The best spatula
I love this spatula and even have two of them. Worth the money.

Light, ergonomic, metal spatula
It works well with an iron skillet and is light enough (due to slots in the flipper portion). The spatula is slightly curved (made with a right-handed person in mind) and thin enough to remove baked items from a flat cookie sheet or flip bacon.

Stainless Baby
Premium price but it will be the last spatula I buy. I cook with cast iron and stainless steel and this spatula purchase was long over due. It works far better than the plastic ones I was using. To sum up: works much better and most likely far healthier.

My New Favorite Tool
This has become my absolute favorite kitchen tool and I use it for so many things (more than fish). It feels as flat as paper and seemingly can get under anything. Pancakes has especially become less of a chore. But it works in concert with cast iron beautifully. I know they say not to use metal on cast iron but—where's the lie? it performs. This particular spatula is excellent and I bought it because of the reviews from a popular and well regarded culinary kitchen tool reviewer (this site won't let me say it). However, one slight issue is that rust has formed where the blade meets the handle and the manufacturer never really got back to me to explain or correct it. It doesn't seem to affect the performance and it is a very small spot, so I will let it be and report back if it becomes an issue. I felt a little guilty for the indulgence of this price, but I reach for it every time I turn on a burner—and cooking is such a pleasure why wouldn't you want to taste what you can create with the best tool possible?

Would easily be a 5 star item for me if the tang ran the full length of the handle. In no way is the performance effected by the tang not being full length, it stops just past the second rivet. But for this price it would have been nice to have that extra detail. Others have mentioned the stamped edges being rough and they are, but this is not a deal breaker in the least. A few swipes with a honing steel and you can work the edges to however you like them. For this I actually like that the edges are a bit rough. It's an amazingly light and nimble spat with a perfect curve that is extremely useful for delicate items. It's agility almost forces you to pay closer attention to what your doing. For instance when sautéing mushroom caps, instead of randomly flipping them with a pan toss this spat will quickly and easily assist you in turning each one at a time. This allows you to start with the cap side down first, then turning them over to season the underside cup, thus self basting and retaining a stronger mushroom flavor. It's a little thing that makes a big difference. At the end of the day I'm glad to have splurged on this spatula, but at this price it is definitely a luxury buy.
