I didn’t want to have a bad review for these. I did a lot of research to avoid the cheap version...I wanted them to work so bad.I ordered these for our Hawaiian vacation. It was going to be the first time our kids snorkeled and I couldn’t wait to experience it with them.My little guy couldn’t wait to try his mask but it arrived leaking like crazy out of the package the first time he put his face in the water. After trying endlessly to figure out what was wrong we discovered that his mask arrived missing a small plastic plug that his sisters mask had (her worked fine). Poor guy. Ugh. I was heartbroken.When we arrived at our hotel I opened mine and the top plastic piece was separated from the mask and the ball to block unwanted water intake wasn’t there.My husband didn’t even open his mask.We ordered 4. One out of our four worked if you’d like to take those odds. I’d try a different seller. :(

My son and I went on a trip to Puerto Rico each bought a full face snorkel mask two different brands... we were very excited to try them , put them on and in 3 to 5 minutes of snorkling I couldn’t breathe , I was taking breath‘s and not giving any air, I brought my head up and removed the mask , I was dizzy unable to breathe and trying to tread water as I was way out from shore, I was weak so I rolled onto my back and slowly kicked in ....My son was on his way in as well , when we looked at each other we both had the same look on our face neither one of us could breathe.... it took another maybe 10 minutes of resting on the beach before we could breathe normally ... we believe it was the build up of CO2 inside the mask....We had two different designs two different manufacturers and we only used the masks once.... it scares me too much to use it again .. I will be returning the mask for my money back.... for us the design of these masks does not allow CO2 to quickly and efficiently dissipate it’s like breathing into a paper bag we could’ve passed out or worse .....it scares me when I think about it since we were not next to each other snorkeling our experience is one not to be repeated ....we will stay with traditional masks and snorkels

If I could give 6 stars for this mask I would. We purchased two masks as my spouse and I were planing on a snorkeling shore excursion on our cruise.My wife has a terrible time snorkeling, she just cant breathe into a regular snorkeling mask tube. I found this mask as a last resort option for to be able to join me. It worked!! She was able to breathe comfortably and see all the fishes without chocking on salt water or drowning (yay)The mask has a really good seal on it (you cant have a beard though) The lenses are very clear and don't fog up and its easily to see your peripherals.I would recommend this mask to anyone who plans on going snorkeling. The sizing chart is very accurate, materials do not feel cheap and the packaging is well done. Our masks came with no damage or scratches.

We bought 6 of these because we think they are amazing and will make great gifts! My husband has a vision issue and cannot wear contacts and doesn't want to invest in a prescription snorkel mask because of how bad his eyes are so he just stopped snorkeling. In an attempt to get him back in the water and enjoy what he loved, I bought these in hopes that he could modify them to work around his glasses. Well, to our great surprise, he can wear his glasses while wearing the mask without leaks or modification! We are so excited about our next vacation! Love that it comes in colors too!

Bought this mask for our honeymoon in the Galapagos where it would be used extensively for snorkeling. In theory having a full face mask that foregoes the snorkel tube is a great idea. In reality, it did not work. First off, the part where the snorkel attaches to the top of the mask is incredibly flimsy and snapped after the first use. We had to duct tape it to the mask to make it work after that. Second, the mask constantly fogged up and was incredibly hard to use after just a few minutes in the water. I used anti-fog on the mask prior to each time out but it still constantly fogged up. After a few times of dealing with constant fog and not being able to see, I gave up and used a rental snorkel. The exact thing I bought this to avoid. My wife also used one and had a little more success with it fogging about 50% of the time.

Have snorkeled countless times as once a year exercises. Tried this out for the first time in 1-2foot surf. It is very easy to put on and adjust. Visibility is excellent. No problem breathing through nose and/or mouth. However, when the waters got rougher and I had to exert ~80% effort to swim back, I felt like I had trouble breathing. Unlike a regular snorkel, I think these types of masks restrict airflow. A regular snorkel has a large diameter tube attached almost directly to your mouth so high air flow can be achieved. In contrast, the airflow feels restricted once I started exerting and breathing harder. There is no way to take off the mask to breathe without keeping your eyes dry like with regular snorkeling. In the end, I’m afraid to take this out in anything other than absolute calm water where I can just stand up and rip the whole mask off in an emergency. Definitely not for the Pacific Ocean.

We bought this for a trip to Hawaii. My wife and I used it while snorkeling in Hanaume Bay, and it does its job beautifully.It fits snuggly and does not leak while under water.The view was pretty good and did not distort the view due to the plastic cover.It is slighly heavy, but no problem while using in the water.Very simple and has a few spare parts like rubber caulking and O ring that wears out quickly.

I have not had a chance to use the product yet, but the product seems to be solid and I think it will work great my needs. I really appreciated the email I received from Vaincre the day before the mask arrived with tips on how to best use the mask. I think the customer service from Vaincre alone is worth the purchase.
