Nutrament Chocolate Complete Nutritional Drink 12 oz (Pack of 12)

I drink Nutrament as a meal replacement(usually with a banana) or as an Extra meal if I am exercising hard. It is skim milk based so I think it taste better than water based drinks and little better than fat free milk based Slim Fast. I give the product 5 stars but the banana flavor only 3. I really like the Strawberry, Chocolate and Vanilla ones the best. It's more expensive per oz than Slim Fast but also has more of most everything: 360 calories vs 190, 16 grams of Protein vs 10,etc. You would have to drink approximately 1.5 cans of Slim Fast to get the same as Nutrament which means in THIS case, the prices are about equal. Slim Fast does have 5 grams of fiber, whereas Nutrament has zero. This makes sense in that Slim Fast is mainly marketed for those who want to lose weight and fiber helps to give you a full feeling. BOTTOM LINE: My view is that Slim Fast is better for those trying to lose weight and Nutrament is for those who are very active/athletic and want to add extra muscles or weight to their bodies. Also, as other indicate, is good for after surgery to add nutrients. UPDATED: March 18,2013

I bought this since my father send me one in the mail. It is very good and I love the taste. Definitely drink this if you haven’t eaten all day or gonna have a long day.

We used this in wrestling in HS. We all loved it, candy when you're hungry and 16. Has very good rich and creamy chocolate flavor with little vitamin taste and very few off-notes. Fabulous, silky mouthfeel. You simply won't find a more palatable meal replacement/shake. I've been looking for 40 years. In fact, Nutrament gets an 8/10, when the best of the rest make a tolerable 5-6. The nutrition, research and quality of this Carnation/Borden product demands a premium. An occasional treat, or a true meal replacement when you can't eat solid chow. The high price cost a star and a half, but the bigger 12 ounce size is a big improvement over the usual 8 ounces, so I round up. Love this stuff.

5 of the cans had major dents 3 of were almost bent in half that's not acceptable peices of metal could be in the drink those cans should have been thrown out not sent to me. I buy your product all the timeBut never treated like this
