Needed Mega size
Made and exchange for Mega 45.5 and they fit quite well. Plenty wide, fits high arch and straps are long enough for me. I wear a 4E shoe. Have been using the shoes and I am happy with them.

Buy "gently used" only...
I'm going on my third pair of SIDI MTB shoes. Yes, the fit is is like a pigskin glove. DuPont Lorica rarely stretches and is inherently anti-bacterial....so buying used is always a great deal. You'll never worry about: separating soles, frayed stitching or discomfort, with SIDI. They can be found used all-day, for well under $100. Go ahead....take the plunge. If you don't like them - you can easily flip them online, for nearly what you paid for them.

Inderior design all around - Much happier with Shimano M088
PROS:* Lightweight* Easy to replace rachets and straps* Replaceable partsCONS:* Plastic and brass for the cleat attachment = more focussed pressure than Shimano M088* Narrower tread = less stable walking than Shimano M088* Single screw for rachet is easy to come off (even with blue threadlock they provided)* Replacement rachets are kind of expensive* Stock rachets are difficult to release (push on the sides).* New rachets are one click per push to release. No full-release like Shimano.* Racheting strap is fairly short compared to Shimano, so it's hard to get the first click in. There is an extension part Sidi High Instep Adapter .* The counter of the shoe doesn't come high enough over my heel.* Shorter tread wear - I've walked maybe 200 paces and the plastic tread (instead of hard rubber) is already wearing.I have a pair of these because they were on clearance for a fifth of list price. It only took 4 rides before one rachet was lost. It's a pain to remove when it's mounted on the shoe, but if it comes unscrewed, it just flies off easily? Hrmmm. The Shimano M088 shoes are vastly superior to these, and are about half the list price.EDIT: Unfortunately, both of these are getting hard to come by.NOTE: I bought size 50 - Amazon product listings keep changing, so it doesn't show the right size under my review. My feet are 120mm long, 76mm high at the arch/instep, and 304mm long:* SH-M088 / R088 size 50E (M088E, M088LE, or M088 Wide) fit well. I can get 4 or 5 clicks before ratcheting.* SH-M089 / R089 size 51E (M089E, M089LE, or M089 Wide) except instep/arch is too high. The strap cannot click in without removing the insoles.* Sidi Dominator 5 mega size 50 (mega = wide) though only the first 3 clicks of the strap load in, and it's a little difficult to align for the first click. The ratchet works fine after that.* Pearl Izumi are snug all around at maximum size.* Giro all seem very narrow and hard to find size 50.* I've been told to try Lake shoes with the BOA system (cables).
