RSVP Just Ducky Floating Tea Infuser

Very cute.

My roommate and I have a longstanding rubber duckie joke - and often find new ways to incorporate them into each others life. He has loose leaf tea most afternoons - and this was a birthday present for him. He says it works perfectly - and we both get a giggle watching as the tea steeps. Excellent quality for what I was expecting to be a cutesy novelty gift.

I love this little duck. I'm not sure if it's healthy to like watching this little guy float around my tea as much as I do but if it's wrong, I don't wanna be right. He's well made, adorable and the strainer part is metal which I prefer to the silicone kind out there. I also like that he came with his cute little blue base so when my tea is strong enough he can hang out there and keep me company, without dripping all over my desk, while I finish my brew. He's the best, all my office mates agree and are jealous!

So, this may look like a silly toy, but it's not. I use this at work to make a cup of tea in an insulated mug, and I imagine it would work equally as well in a small teapot. Loose tea is way cheaper and less packaging than bags, so that's pretty rad. Ducky is well made and cute and works well. Only drawbacks so far are that the tea can collect in the crevices of the ducky and stain it brown - doesn't affect function but it's not aesthetic. Also, you have to watch it at first because trapped air in the tea leaves can affect the bouyant stability, and it will heel over, which is less efficient for making tea. Just play with it for a second and it will upright.

This tea infuser is absolutely adorable and completely functional, as well as extremely easy to clean. It is not hollow, the duck is completely solid. The blue catcher is super convenient. This little guys quickly became my absolute favorite. Sometimes he will fall over and float on his side if you overfill him, but for the most time he manages to float upright. I have had no problems with melting or fading of any sort. 10/10, I love this duck.

Works well and very cute. The duck floats along in the liquid. If you have it in your cup and pour hot water directly on it, it can pop off and spill your loose tea. The duck is made of a hard plastic so not sure how healthy that is in a hot beverage. The strainer and duck sit perfectly on the holder until the next use. Would buy again.

I use this for all my loose teas. Cute, perfect and it floats. I just love how you earn a kiss from the duck every time you take a sip.

I LOVE IT! Best tea infuser ever! I've been searching for the perfect tea infuser for years, and this one's it! I love that it's shaped like a duck, and it ACTUALLY FLOATS! Granted, you may need to let water run under it and hold it upright until the leaves soak up a bit for the duck to float upright, but I love it! Be careful not to let it tip over too much or it will take in water and sink! I would put it in the drink long enough to seep, but then I would take it out and put it in the holder it comes with to drain. Handwash this product only, but only was the parts of the duck where the tea touched it! Avoid getting water in the duck!

Had to repurchase this because I broke my previous one I had for years. I love how he just floats around in the tea and his little holder for after.

This is my second one of these and I've also bought them as gifts. They're super cute, easy to get out of the hot water and has the handy 'pond' to sit the hot metal from the infuser in. Everyone I've bought them for loves them and I always keep one handy at home for guests because the bright yellow duck makes the infuser easy to find.
