I cant tell you how un-cabinet-like my cabinet shelves were before purchasing these pegs. Held up with a mere unreasonable, vintage facsimile of a plastic peg, all of my cabinets were more tipsy than a Scotsman in Glasgow on a Saturday night. Nothing stayed in place, and every precious plate was in perpetual danger of tumbling into the lower shelves if a sideways glance were to whisper the air around the plastic pegs enough to destroy the final structural molecule that was clinging to life. I used to lay awake at night, waiting for the crashes to come, but alas, all was well.Finally, I decided that I needed to be free of this nagging fear, and purchased these lovely inserts. In mere moments my stress disappeared like a vampire from the Gilroy Garlic Festival (try the garlic fries, they're amazing), and my shelves now sit sturdy and confident that they can hold any kitchen item that may come their way.I've been sleeping like a baby ever since.

the very top shelf in my kitchen cupboard fell unto the others and thank goodness it did not break my dishes. The custom made cupboards were installed 55 years ago and the plastic support pegs rotted and broke. So we ordered enough to replace ALL of them. Hopefully will last another 55 years LOL

Works well

Just moved into a house and the boards in the cabinets had cheap plastic shelf supports that were broken or breaking. Lost some really nice dishes because a support broke and the whole shelf fell down taking two other shelves with it!! The whole incident was heart breaking. Bought these supports in hope that metal ones would support the shelves and save us from some more broken dishes. Amazing quality and has holes that allow you to screw in the shelves to the brackets. So happy with these and no more broken dishes because the shelves are supported correctly with these!!!

The hole in the bottom of the shelf pin is the best and easiest to secure any shelf that is prone to movement because of the height / weight of items on shelf ! Plastic / click lock pins break ! This is stability! No movement ! U have to provide the screw to pass though shelf pin ? The length of the screw will depend on the thickness of your shelf material .

As another reviewer stated, these pins are smaller than one quarter inch, and they fit loosely in the quarter inch holes.I thought otherwise the pins were good quality and had a good finish, however, I returned them.

Easy to install and difficult to remove, which makes for a stable result. It comes with the right caliber bit so there is no confusion about whether to use metric or imperial to make the holes. Sturdy and reliable.
