adidas Originals Men's Ultraboost

I have back problems, arthritic hips and tricky knees, these shoes changed my life (true story).I can walk far enough and fast enough to actually increase my heart rate now. Color me Tickled Pink

So I’m like, 70% sure these aren’t legit Adidas shoes. They came in a plain cardboard box without any additional laces, and there are a few other signs of potential fakery.That being said, I was about to return them when I decided to try them on and well… they ARE pretty comfortable and they ARE probably half the price I would have paid in other circumstances (like if the shoe was 100% without a doubt authentic). So maybe I’m just going to pretend they’re real and not worry about it too much. Just thought you might want to know.

Just a bit of history before I delve into what I liked/disliked about this shoe. I'm a 40 year old male that's been running for about 6 years. I typically run about 20-25 miles a week and have run a few half marathons. I never really paid attention to the importance of a good pair of running shoes until I started experiencing Achilles pain. This is a nagging injury that sidelined me intermittently for well over a year. With a proper stretching regimen in place, I decided to invest in proper running shoes.My first pair of Ultra Boost were 4.0's, which I immediately loved and put 400 miles on before I retired them. Subsequently I bought a pair of Ultra Boost Parleys, which at first I wasn't sold on (they felt a bit tight and not as comfortable) but as I broke them in and racked up the miles I really grew to love them. This most current pair, the Climas, are my favorite of the three! Here's my thoughts....PRO's1) They fit like a glove, although please note that as with all 3 pairs I've owned run a bit small, so size up half a size for the best fit2) They have a neutral feel, which I love. If you are an over pronator, it may be wise to look for a stability type of shoe.3) They breathe sooooo good! I live in a super hot climate, so the extra large perforation is welcomed. If you live in cold or wet areas, again, this shoe may not be for you.4) My legs feel great and my Achilles pain is minimal, even after a 10+ mile Road run. I have used them both on and off the road, and I feel that the road is where they are best suited. That patented "boost" cushy feeling that I love with the adidas is just as great on mile 9 as it is mile 1.CONS1) I hate the shoelaces. Yes, I'm nitpicking here, but it's annoying the way they come untied even after double knotting2) The inserts tend to want to come out of the shoe after I remove my feet. Again, a small thing, but annoying.3) The color sucks. This is my fault. I bought the white with neon yellow because it was by far cheaper than the other colors, and because I use them as a tool not a fashion statement.The bottom line is I don't think any of the Ultra Boost's get the proper credit for being great running shoes. This is my favorite pair I've owned, and the fact that they inspired me to write a review (I rarely write reviews, I'm kind of lazy) speaks volumes!

If you’re already an adidas fan, you probably know all about the ultraboost soles. They are light and bouncy and give my feet incredible support. I probably have 10 pairs in different colors just because they are so damn comfortable.

Adidas Men's Ultraboost Road Running Shoes are some of the most stylish and comfortable shoes I have ever owned. From the breathable primeknit fitting to the cloud-like supportive heel and boost midsole there isn't much better out there in terms of overall comfort, support, and design.At the time of this review, the shoes were purchased a month and a half ago. I did not want to publish anything when it comes to shoes only after 2-3 uses. It was important for me to break in these shoes before coming to a verdict.The pictures included in this review were taken after being used roughly a dozen times and were cleaned before posting the pictures. The white soles have been attended with instant cleaner solution. The red primeknit material has been wiped down once with a soft, slightly damp towel and treated with water proofer solution. So far these shoes are holding up very well!Never owning a set of Adidas Ultraboost shoes before, I had some concerns about the primeknit material and if it were to fit as expected. I have used them for exercise and for casual / daily use. I am really happy so far with how it fits like a sock over my feet. No slipping or rubbing feel that has created any concerns for blistering. The material is super breathable and hugs my feet more snugly than I anticipated. The soles have an extreme cushion feel that gives a cloud-like feeling and give you a little bounce to your step.My biggest concern, that is safe to say is every shoe owner's biggest concern, is how long these shoes will last. The longevity of the primeknit material in specific. Doing some research, I have only seen a couple isolated issues with the stitching getting a small snag or unfortunate tear. Nothing so far that I have seen that would lead me to believe its a constant issue with these shoes. With proper care and possibly a schedule of "every other day" for use I hope to get some good mileage from these shoes. I would definitely recommend giving the Adidas Ultraboost Running Shoes a shot!

Although selected the full black option, colour is not entirely black as imagined...

J'ai toujours commandé du 8 1/2. J'ai pas pensé que les grandeur US c'est 1/2 size de moins. C'est un peu tight.. je pense à les retourner et recommander une pointure plus grande

Very comfortable I recommend ordering a 1/2 size bigger at least. Also be nice If they was a little wider. But over all great quality and a great buy

Comfortable shoe. Luckily I ordered a half size bigger and they’re still a bit snug.

Like sneakers. Grandson loved them. Wore 1st day of school
