Does the job perfectly, but a bit expensive for what it is.
Easy to fit, hue remote plate clicks into place perfectly. Seems well made, looks better than a lot of the alternatives and stops the original light switches being used and upsetting your hue bulbs.Downside - the cost. Quite expensive for what it is. Came with a mini screwdriver which could be useful if you don’t already have any tools, but also quite wasteful when your ordering a twin pack. Never going to use them again.

Looks good and keeps lights on at wall switch.!
Love how it looks smart and not just on top of the original switch. Came with longer screws which I needed in my case. Works as designed so others don’t switch lights off at wall, but gives easy access to switch if needed.

Works well but would prefer whole light switch covered
I bought several single switch covers and they are brilliant. It covers the whole switch and looks perfect. This product is a little different because it doesn't cover the whole original switch, and it looks a little strange because the pokes out over the top and bottom of the existing switch. If an alternative might come available in the future, I would definitely go for that. In the mean time, this is a great hack for my front door and sitting room light switches.

Smart appearance and easy install
Very impressed with this. Some of the other options looked very bulky but this replaces the HUE backplate so overall not much bigger than a standard switch (see photo). Fits the HUE dimmer perfectly (with 2 magnets like the HUE backplate)Quick and easy to install and it would also be easy to access the original switch if you needed to.

Good quality product and quick and easy installation
Great, easy way to cover your existing switch with your new fancy smart Hue switch.The Hue switch itself comes with sticky pads attached and the option to just use the remote. However this obviously leaves the existing light switch in place and the potential for visitors of forgetful people to be switching off the light and rendering the smart features useless. This product solves that by conveniently covering the original switch completely, while still making access to it quick and simple(should you really need to turn it off for some reason). Very pleased with it!

Matches Samotech single adapter and can be used over single switches too
Having several Hue Dimmer switches mounted on Samotech single adapters already, I had one location where I wanted to mount two dimmers at a single wall switch location. Similar to the previous reviewer I did not like the other style of Samotech double dimmer adapter.I had previously resorted to ordering a different double adapter from the 'bay but it was a pretty rough 3D print that would have taken a lot of sanding and polishing to look vaguely acceptable. I did not use it.It wasn't until seeing the first review of this product that I realised that this product could be mounted over a double switch OR a single switch - I think the seller should make more of this aspect and show photos of both uses and they would probably sell more!Now I have a pair of dimmers mounted neatly over the original switch location and it matches my other single Samotech adapters nicely and is of similar good quality. Thanks to the previous reviewer for the clear explanation and photos.

Good idea but magnet is too weak
Would be perfect if magnet was stronger. The control keeps falling off. We think this time the control broke so an expensive mistake

Straight Forward an Easy to Fit
A very straight forward product that achieves what is required from it. The product arrived head of its expected delivery so that was nice. From there I was able to fit two of the units within a matter of minutes, really -I used my trusty electric screwdriver but the product does come with a handy little screwdriver which I was surprised to see. I used the screws provided as they were cleaner than the existing ones from my switches.The only downside is that they do make the light switch look pretty bulky as they stick out quite far. I am not sure if this is entirely due to the amount of space required to clear the existing switch or if the cover could be a little slimmer. Either way they did the job and allow my Hue dimmers to go where the light switches have always been.

Única alternativa a interruptores Philips Hue
En España tener interruptores Hue es un marrón, porque si alguien presiona el interruptor tradicional te los desconecta. Este es grande y abultado, al estilo norteamericano e inglés, pero te ayuda a "condenar" los interruptores tradicionales sin tener que quitarlo, ya que simplemente los dejas encendidos. Me parece una alternativa necesaria si instalas Hue en tu hogar, por otro lado son bastante abultados y "feos", pero es que no hay otra alternativa.

Die Abdeckung ist gut geeignet, um den Schalter an Gerätedosen über die Schrauben zu montieren. Richtig gut gemacht!Man sollte nur auf die eigenen Bedingungen achten: Zum Beispiel, was man macht, wenn man eine Schalter/Steckdosen Kombination hat (so ist es bei uns der Fall). Dann muss man die Steckdose außer Betrieb setzen, um die Abdeckung montieren zu können.

Queda bien para tener dos interruptores juntos. Pero podría haber otro para uno solo.
Creo que podrían hacer otro para uno solo, pues en la misma estancia tengo que poner otro interruptor igual pero solo, y me gustaría haber tenido los dos con la misma funda.
