Chrome is Best
I have been using Koolance QD3 fitting for a long time. They are excellent. Most of mine are black. I recommend Chrome because the black anodized finish promotes sticking of the female fitting, which can cause a leak when the valve sticks partial open when disconnected. And, what gets scraped off the brass ends up in your loop. This doesn't happen with the chrome QD fittings.

Hit or miss
These things are hit or miss as to whether or not they will work. I have bought 5 and 2 of the 5 work. Three stars is being generous.
