Excellent product, AMAZING customer service
I saw some of the concerns mentioned in early reviews so I decided to try and contact the company through the email address on their website. I got a reply within 15 minutes (on a Saturday) telling me that a small batch had a fit issue but that it was resolved quickly and all of the customers who received the first run were taken care of with replacement products. I dialoged with customer support over email (they continued to be really quick with their responses) and felt comfortable placing an order. Because I have many of their other products, I knew that the company was in the business of making top-quality accessories. I received my order quickly and found the product to be just as advertised. The fit was perfect and I am now able to get some killer shots with my camera-- the same shots that blew my mind in the GoPro videos.GoPole has proven to be a great company-- killer products that are innovative and useful all while having amazing customer support. I'm stoked to see what they make next! If you are thinking about buying their stuff-- just pull the trigger-- when you are watching your footage you will be glad that you did.

Great little arm extender
Instead of using this for my helmet, I used this as an extender for my suction cup mount. It works great. I was wanting something that put the GoPro over my 2005 Kawasaki Concours instrument panel. It was easy to add to the mount. Being so high it made the camera a little wobbly, but it did not affect the quality of the video.

Usefull
While this product is useful, it is too little for your buck i felt it was a bit overpriced, however it is of good material.

Not nearly firm enough for extreme sports
I tried using this skydiving the other day but couldn't because no matter how much I tightened it, it moved almost completely freely at both joints. It would have just been a nuisance in free fall. It would have been even worse on a mountain bike. As far as I'm concerned, it was a complete waste. I might try to glue both joints in place so it won't move, but then I won't be able to adjust it, and I would have to devote other parts to this setup.

May not be as advertised. Won't daisy chain, and poor execution of design. Great idea though.
May not be as advertised. May be just a shipping error.1. The product shown is straight. The one I received has a curve to it. It's like a banana.2. The product shown is able to be connected to itself. I ordered 2. No matter how I connected them, tried with both after market and OEM screws, I couldn't get them to stay rigid. One connected to a mount, with a camera on the end is fine, but you won't be daisy chaining them.Notes:1. This is not claimed in their advertisement, but a Q&A says it comes with 2 8" pieces. This is not correct. It comes with 1. Nothing against the company, just something to be aware of.2. It will not stably hold a Fusion. Not sure how many people are going to be putting a Fusion on the end of it, but if you're going over bumper terrain, or putting it on a boat like I was, it'll will not stay rigid. I'll be testing it in smoother water tonight, but I am not hopeful.3. The captive bolt makes it really hard to set up. If you have straight pieces where they're all the same, I doubt it'll matter, but on curved pieces it'll be extremely difficult to get the camera exactly where you want it, aince due to the identical pieces, the captive bolts will force you to put the camera a little off to the side, not center line like it typically would be.4. The plastic is really brittle. Due to the price tag of $20+shipping each I won't be purposefully snapping it, but I don't expect it to last long.I needed these extension arms to get the best shots at the 3rd of July fireworks show, and a few upcoming adventures ... and am very disappointed in this turn of events. Paid $20+ for 1 day shipping, and they didn't even ship the right item.Due to my experience here, I'm just going to have a local fab shop crank out a dozen aluminum pieces for me.

Perfect Snorricam
Great construction and rock solid once connected. We used it as an inexpensive Snorricam rig and it worked great. Reversed the arm, connected to the chest mount and got a great shot w/ the person staying steady and be background moving like crazy. Can't really comment on how it performs on a helmet, but it did a great job for what we needed.

Some sweet camera angles
Got this because I thought it looked pretty cool. Turns out it gives some pretty neat camera angles. Have used it while out riding on my motorcycle, but then also used it when I climbed Little Devils Tower out in the Black Hills. Some parts of that climb are pretty verticle and to have arm on the headband shooting my face and what is behind me looked awesome. Totally worth the money!!

Great procuct, can make good angels for a killer shots!! The only "bad" thing is that sometimes you need to tighten the screw enough to secure it, like a little bit more than usual with other mounts, but it work great.
