Triplett TMAL-002 Mini Screwdriver: Well made and very clever!
I was a bit cautious when I ordered this screwdriver, because many of these I've looked at are cheap China knockoffs, and poorly made. Not this one! Neither the tool itself, or the packaging mentions where it's made so I contacted Triplett and they responded immediately (even on a Saturday!) and they said it's made in Taiwan. That's OK with me.This is a well made tool from a reputable company, in business since 1904. It's a very clever design that works really well, keeping the flat and cross bits readily available, and the Torx bits available in the handle. The barrel loading function is surprisingly easy, with the selected bit held in place magnetically. The magnet is VERY strong and you're not likely to have the bit just fall out on the floor or get lost in your toolbox! The gear-less ratchet function works flawlessly and even has a "hold" function to keep the tip still in the jaws for manual twisting. This is a great tool for working on small items. They make a heavy duty version of this tool for only $5 more on Amazon if you're looking for that.If you're looking for a small-work screwdriver with multi size tips, you can't go wrong with this one, and yes, I would buy it again!

Awesome
Pretty cool. I was unsure if I would like this contraption until I used it. Now I see the benefit. Also no more losing bits as they are always inside the driver.

The product description is pitiful
...or at least it was when I wrote this. Hopefully, they've redone it since. But if not, then the part that you're missing about how this tool works is that you pull the revolver-style cylinder straight out and away from the handle about 3 inches! It looks kind of crazy like this, but what's happened is that during the extension, the bit has dropped down into position within the cylinder. So now you can rotate the cylinder to select the next bit. The next bit is the one ligned with the column that all of this is attached to. Don't worry; it's obvious when you have the thing in hand. Then, you just slide it back down and the new bit is in position! It's a genius mechanism and one I wish I had a long time ago.I refuse to ever be without one of these ever again. Once your life is free of bit fumbling you just can't go back. You might as well tell me to stretch my lower lip into the size and shape of a dinner plate; it just ain't happening. So how do I get by saying something like that and then only leaving a 4-star review? Because nothing in life is perfect. Here's my list of gripes:1. The cylinder refracts light so badly that it's sometimes impossible to tell which bit I'm looking at, so I have to just quickly load each one up until I get the one I want. If the cylinder can't be made more transparent, then color-code each position within the cylinder and I'll just remember it that way. Come to think of it, I'm going to do that right now!2. The cylinder only moves in one direction. You can get it to move the other way if you futz with it enough but by then, you could have already done a full turn in the other direction.3. My previous screwdriver had a reinforced pommel for light striking. I didn't even think before shattering the delicate endcap on this tool. I reassembled it with the help of some epoxy. But still, it's VERY fragile. To some extent, it's an unfair comparison because my old screwdriver didn't have storage in the handle either. However, when compared with similar handles with unscrewable ends from Irwin and Craftsman, this one is still considerably more fragile. So I would like to see this given some attention in version 2 because it's quite common to strike stuff with the end of the screwdriver handle.4. If this exists, I didn't find it: There should be an accessory or add-on pack that includes maybe 3 more cylinders and a holder that you can hang on a wall or pegboard. The holder should feel basically the same as the way the tool itself holds the cylinders so they feel satisfactorily clicked-in. The holder should also include a (removable?) clip for attaching it to a belt or a jean pocket.

Great value for the price, has everything I need
Great little kit without being too big. Fit's easily anywhere and has all of the security bits you should ever need. Great for tearing into electronics for repair that have the stupid post in the middle of the screw that prevents a regular bit from working.

Great little set
Has all the most common sizes. I rely on this all the time. I’m an electrician.

Poor quality
I expected more from Triplett. Several of the parts were not machined correctly and thus were useless. The 14 spanner would not fit at all. The 12 spanner fit tight. I know how they should fit because I have these in Irwin and they are a perfect fit. Also the 5/16 security allen was off drilled. The rest of the set is nice and so is the box. So I kept it and placed my good pieces in their place.
