Great Rucka run continues
Greg Rucka's run continues as Batman takes somewhat of a backseat as readers get the chance to learn more about Sasha. She's an interesting character as she doesn't want in Batman's world but feels she has to be to do her job properly. This is a different take than we've seen from others before. This volume includes a very good Mad Hatter story that shows off how smart he is and how dangerous that can be. There is also some wonderful looks at who Bruce is versus who Batman is. There some fill-in artists but we still got a decent share of Shawn Martinbrough, whose run ends spectacularly. Overall, another really good book that leads into some huge storylines.

Compelling story and characters, cool art
I've fallen in love with the New Gotham storyline, as well as the distinctive art. Sasha Bordeaux is an interesting and compelling character, and the post-No Man's Land timeline is engaging and fun. If you enjoyed that story arc, along with Bruce Wayne: Murderer?, you might really enjoy this story.

Does not include Officer Down story
I really enjoyed the No Man's Land Saga and this follow up to that event does a nice job showing how Gotham got back on it's feet. The art isn't for everyone but I didn't mind. The big hit to the rating though is the story about Gordon getting shot is not included in this nor the other New Gotham trade. It's referenced but never seen and the Officer Down trade has since gone out of print.
