Basic this speaker cable is not! Basic is bell wire… This is far from it and is very well made, and very well shielded… Banana plugs are well made too I’ve used this to connect the new to me Edifier M4 speakers that I’ve bought for my home-office desktop system. Removed the banana plugs as they’re not needed and literally plug n play

for the price you get fairly heavy weight speaker cable and fitted with banana plugs so there is great value in this item, as for sound quality I have never been someone who could tell the difference between cheap and expensive hi fi cables but I did not want to use the cheapest thinest wire I could buy from screw fix so I bought the amazon basic speaker wire and it feels a bit unfair to call it basic its well made nicely put together and I would buy again, I do not think you would feel disappointed with the item. the only thing to mention I had to tighten up a couple of the backs of the banana plugs but that's no problem but just check yours before using

Basically a good product but spoiled by cheap termination. There had been some really pathetic attempt to solder the cable to the banana plug complete failure due to lack of heat or suitable flux. I stripped a bit of insulation off and made a physical contact so much better. Good quality cable and terminations poor enactment.

High quality leads with great connections. Don't be put off by the basics branding they are far from basic.

I am not an audiophile, I understand that there will be be better cables out there, but for my system these are perfect, great value, look good and to my ears greatly improved the sound from my system.

I bought a pair of these cables to run to my subwoofer. They are really well made and the plugs are super tight, actually a little hard to get in first time. But this means they are firmly secured in the socket and will not fall out like some plugs do. The plugs are really well made as well, nothing cheap and nasty about them at all. The cable is thick but flexible and the termination on each end is really well done, no odd lengths or exposed cable. For the price these are unbeatable. I could not recommend them enough. PS, I also tried them with my speakers and they sounded great. Going to get another two pairs to bi-wire my speakers now.

All of the plugs were loose on the cables. Easily corrected (but should not have to!), then the cables are good with well fitting plugs. The cables would be longer ideally, but you don't get perfection at this price.

I bought two of the three feet cables for a little bedroom set up and then ordered one of the six foot cables for a new set up in the living room. I had already built some high end cables for a set of good standmounters, but although I think the gauge is better on my home cables and I had to build them to biwire the speakers, these are a fine substitute. Having tested the one cable I've just ordered a match.
