Love it
My range finally came (after being a week late due to fedex incompetence). Worth the wait. It's beautiful! I was able to install it myself in about 2 hours. The control panel is touch screen and seems high tech. The screen is as sensitive as my iPhone is. There does not seem to be any lag between touching and response. There are a lot of setting features with the oven that I am excited to try. The interior oven is LARGE and I love the 3 racks. Drawer on the bottom is the perfect size to raise bread or to keep things warm. The cooktop is heavy duty and seems like it will be easy to clean.I have not been able to fire it up yet because the gas line guy needs to come out to repair the line he put in. I will add to the review when I'm able to cook/bake a few things with itUpdate: finally got it going and I went crazy cooking and baking all sorts of things. As described in other reviews, there was a horrible smell from the oven upon first use but I have been reassured that that will go away soon.Bakes and cooks like a dream. Water boiled within a few minutes. Baking was even and turned out perfect. Convection fan is so quiet.I love this oven!

Overall, excellent product
Quality made product. Oven and stove cooks more evenly and faster than my old range. I love the burner design of the stove. The double burner design of the right front burner can boil water in half the time of my old one, and then the outer burner can be turned off so that the food can simmer on the inner burner. Perfect for rice and other things. The central oval burner should have been a little longer and wider. It is ok for a long griddle that I have, but the ends of the griddle does not get as much heat as the center. The cast iron griddle that comes with the stove is too narrow for pancakes, and is not non stick coated. The other side is good for grilling hot dogs and hamburgers. The downside is that the stainless surface scratches easily. The cast iron burner caps are hard to clean if they get grease on them. The oven and door glass is easy to clean, and I have yet to use the self cleaning function after a month of broiling meats. Still looks new inside. I would highly recommend this range. Good value.

Great product until there is a failure that is almot impossible to diagnose.
Similar to other people, our oven stopped working, and would only show 175 degrees, and would no longer work. After much troubleshooting, and parts replacement, it turns out that the main gas inlet valve assembly failed. I called 6 local home appliance stores trying to get someone to look at our range, and all of them refused to work on Samsung. They know more than I do about the kinds of problems these units have. I would not buy a second purchase from Samsung for this kind of appliance. Samsung needs to stick to TVs and phones. Leave the major appliances to other companies.

Samsung doesn't back their product up once the sale is made
Having already bought a very expensive Samsung flat screen which literally died THE DAY AFTER THE WARRANTY EXPIRED I was told to find the nearest repair shop to where I live (two hours away in Kingston) They told me I had to bring to and leave it with them while informing me they most likely wouldn't get to it foe at least 5 or 6 business days. No guarantees about what it might cost to fix it obviously. I made the right move. I threw it away and bought a Sony, which I am very pleased with and should have bought the first time. So I decided then that I wouldn't be doing business with Samsung again. Unfortunately shortly after our convection range died after 19 years. Didn't owe me a penny. My wife, after reading a Consumer Reports article, insisted that the Samsung NX58H9500 s.s. convection oven was the one we had to have. First time I tried the automatic cleaning feature it didn't really do a satisfactory job, and I foolishly didn't follow up with Samsung after speaking to them on the phone. The oven temperature was extremely uneven, making baking anything an adventure. Eventually the convection feature decided that it no longer wanted to convect THREE DAYS AFTER the warranty expired. After trying to get the repair company that Samsung recommended ( EE Fix [ do yourself a big favor and never call these morons- it took four phone calls spaced out over a week just to get a return call] ) Samsung agreed to let me use the appliance repair company I've been using for 18 years AND THEY WOULD REIMBURSE ME as long as I sent the receipt for the repairs. I have a copy of the text stating this. So I had my appliance repair company do the work. I had the control board replaced for $486 and after about two weeks the convection oven stopped working again. After speaking to supervisors and supervisors of supervisors and another couple hours on the phone Samsung has decided to renege on their promise ( which I have in a written text from Christian, one of their supervisors, who btw " is no longer with Samsung"- how convenient ) Guess what? I'm going to buy a new oven. Are you listening Consumer Reports?? BUYER BEWARE!!

DO NOT PURCHASE unless you want to purchase expensive replacement knobs ALL THE TIME.
Horrible. The stove itself is nice, but all the knobs broke within a month of installation and normal use. Why bother making a stainless steel appliance if you cheap out on the knobs and render the stove useless after just a few weeks?!
