Was hesitant at first consider that its no longer a U.S. based company, that being said the product arrived in a good condition, well lubricated. the fit and finish is good and the motion of travel is good with smooth travel in the length of its rotation, it works as intended, there is very very little play in the clamping, for the price I would recommend it. As a side note my father in law who is a machinist already borrowed it, I'll leave it at that. I would order again,without reservations, if there was a need

This Wilton 3-Inch Cradle Style Angle Drill Press Vise is great for the price. Very heavy and sturdy, everything operates smoothly with little play. I rate fit and finish as very good to excellent. I would definitely recommend this vise.

This vise is about as good as it gets for an China import vise fit and finish is good and proper machining is done on all the surfaces that matter. The jaw has almost zero slop. I think it is strong enough to use as a mini mill vise for lighter milling cuts on brass aluminum and mild steel. This to large in my opinion for mini drill presses of 8 inches swing or below. A good solid product for a home shop or maybe lighter duty commercial work.

I’ve had good luck with Wilton products in the past, not this one. The jaws corroded in a substantial way less than two days after I installed it on my bench. Never put any corrosive products on it, had never even used it in fact.Yes,, I know it is a drill press vice, but it’s helpful to me for work I often do to have a smaller bench vice with an adjustable axis.Didn’t send it back, just cleaned and greased it. Functionally it is OK, but zero use and corrosion in a climate controlled shop in less than 48 hours? Not OK.

Vise is easy to use, heavy duty and solid. parts function ok and holds work items strongly

Finish and workmanship are Wilton quality. Stops for common angles are reasonably accurate. I use angle blocks for setup so have not paid attention to the accuracy of the included scale, but it is reasonably close. Used for light milling and angle drilling.

Heavy duty! Passes expectations

The fit and finish on this vise is typical for Chinese products. The machining is on the rough side and the thread fit is loose. I gave it 5 stars because it is exactly what I expected for the price. It will do what I need, so I'm happy with the purchase.I would classify this as an "economy" Wilton. I have one of the American made Wiltons and they are a true work of art. Quality fit and finish that is second to none. Of course it cost me 20X the price of this one.You get what you pay for.
