Excellent buy.
This was brought to make painting easier and to cut the time of moving it down. Excellent application. Very durable , past it on to my painter friend who speak highly of this painting equipment, for it cut down his time of doing a house. Please practice before using if you not accustom of painting.

Fairly well executed product, but terrible instructions--maybe the worst in the universe.
Today I finally used the sprayer for a 10' x 12' storage shed built from T1-11 and sorely neglected by the owner (me). Hasn't been painted for 15 years. This is the first time using any sprayer for me.It's well done, and works fine. I sprayed 1.5 gallons for the first coat (the wood was a sponge for obvious reasons), and did have two clogs for the first three quarts. I thinned the paint to the max recommended, didn't strain it, and believe there may have been some solid fragments. The next three quarts were a different, cheaper paint (I was using up surplus paint for the primer coat from a recent house painting), thinned to the same spec, and no clogs and for whatever reason it seemed to spread a little better than the better quality paint used first.Overspray is next to non-existent. I painted trim without having to mask by dialing down the pattern and using the circle spray.Cleaning was in no way fast, but by that time it was 102° , I was in the sun, and didn't have it in me to clean right away so the paint partially dried before cleaning. Once I figured out that soaking in a solution of Krud Kutter and and water did the trick it was better, but cleaning the electrical unit took over 30 minutes. Some won't bother with this, but I always clean my tools prior to setting them aside. Next time I'll do it quicker--that was on me.The output was great. I don't think it was any faster than rolling, but it got in the grooves that rolling can't, and I only had two small areas of drips. I've read that comes from not moving the sprayer fast enough, so again, on me. Otherwise, coverage and finished first coat turned out great.Other sprayers can come with a larger container, which seems nice for larger projects, but after holding this one at 90° from the work for several hours, I would NOT want anything heavier. Now, the instructions. They were, as has been stated here previously, abysmal, and aside from the parts assembly diagram, were next to worthless. I can deal with grammar and spelling errors, but these had referral numbers with no corresponding directions, did not explain the various settings and how to use them, had incomplete cleaning instructions, and overall were infuriating. This is just laziness, and a failed attempt at saving money to hire an English speaker to illustrate and explain properly. "Mr. Rexbeti" would be well served to cut loose of $1000 or so and have someone redo the instructions--that would make this a five star rating as the device itself is fine, and probably at least as good if not better than most of the competition, including the W brand from what I can tell. So, yes, recommended, and in all fairness if you play with the different settings, the learning curve, through 95% trial and error, is pretty short. Tomorrow is the top coat, and i know it will go fast, use less paint, and cleanup will be done much faster. For the money, a great addition to shop toys and it will get a lot of use over the years I'm sure.Once you have the unit, re-read the 4 and 5 start reviews if you have questions--many tips and answers there. Also, there are videos from competitive products that are very similar and they are helpful.UPDATE: Finished the final coat, again with high quality paint strained and thinned to the max, still two clogs in the first three quarts. Easy to clear now that I know how (two minutes each time), and the final product was in my opinion professional quality, and took about 1 hr. 20 minutes to complete, including filling and clearing. Best paint job I've ever done. Clean up was much easier with the paint wet. The electrical unit took 5 minutes, the rest was spotless in 15 minutes after a hose wash and several hours soak in the Krud Kutter solution.

Awesome Paint Sprayer!
Let me start by saying this is a great paint sprayer and can be used for many different applications. I took on the project of painting the exterior of my home this summer and there was no way I was going to hand paint the entire house, especially with cedar shakes, by hand with a brush. I read the reviews on this product and saw that it was good for smaller projects, but I could not find any mention of painting something as large as a house. I purchased this sprayer and crossed my fingers that I made a good choice. Let me tell you, this sprayer was one of the best purchases I have ever made. It sprays at a consistent rate, has several different flow controls and is fairly accurate to within a few inches. The sprayer had no problem running latex paint through it that I thinned down just slightly and utilized the provided funnel to get it to the proper consistency. I was concerned that the paint consumption would be much more with this sprayer but that was not an issue. I actually feel it used less paint than would have if I hand painted it.Cleanup is very simple and the whole sprayer is very easy to put back together. Ultimately, what would have taken me about one to two weeks if painting by hand, took me a little over three days to complete with this sprayer. I will be using this sprayer to paint my shed, stain my fence and deck and any other projects I can find around the house that give me a reason to use it, all of which I foresee no issues based on how well it performed on the exterior of my home. The only complaint I have about this product is the included directions are very brief and somewhat difficult to understand. This was not a huge problem as the sprayer is pretty user-friendly, but I feel the directions could be a bit better and more thorough.Overall, this is a fantastic product and I highly recommend it to anyone who is in the market for a paint sprayer but does not want to spend thousands of dollars on a larger product. To add, this is only my second product review on Amazon in my over 10 years of Amazon shopping because I simply wanted everyone to know how great this product is! If you’re on the fence about this product, don’t hesitate to make the purchase!

Shoulder Workout!
The paint sprayer works well, in spite of the useless instruction manual, which is so vague and leaves out so much information that it may as well not be there. So watch some YouTube videos beforehand to work out hour to operate the machine. In spite of that, I painted a room and had to make sure that the paint was thin enough. I did find that after about an hour or two of spraying, I had to clean out the sprayer head since the jet was blocking up reducing the amount of paint being sprayed. Cleanup is relatively easy and the little bottle brush provided is perfect for the job. However, your shoulders are going to get a workout like never before. The machine plus the paint makes for a pretty heavy combination, especially after painting for a couple of hours! This is especially true if doing walls above shoulder height and ceilings. Knowing what I know now, I would have bought a more expensive unit which has the compressor on the ground and which draws the paint straight from the bucket. This unit is great for small jobs - furniture and such - but I would recommend you get something else if you plan on painting the house.
