Giani Bernini/Black/Size 8MThere were only two shoes that I really liked and this is one of them sadly it had to be returned.I had my feet measured at a department store = size 8 in hopes of finding a flat “comfort “shoe. I do not have problems with my feet. I never purchased this brand before so I ordered size 8 wearing panty hose my big toe pushed up against the tip of the shoe and the shoe in general felt a little wide. In order for this shoe to fit I would need an 8.5N.Actual Shoe Review – The black sole is not soft or “rubbery” it’s hard plastic with a lot of molded dots on the bottom. When walking on my hard wood floors with soft or rubber soles I hear nothing but with these you hear every step much like walking in high heels. They did not mark up my hard wood floors. The padded insoles are very nice and offer great support but lack arch support and are not removable – unless you rip them out. The shoe opening is done very well the black patent strip is sewn all the way around the shoe and is covered by a small tab in the back. As nicely as it sounds the tab is of major concern as it caused redness on the back of my heels. One word ladies – Bandages! The shoe also shows about ¼ - ½ inch toe cleavage.I would not recommend any shoe that would inflect pain.
