Why does the Life Saver Plant have such a unique name? Look closely at the unique flowers. These 5-pointed, star-shaped flowers are bright yellow with brown-red designs. The inner rim features a dark red circle that looks just like a lifesaver. This succulent is very easy to grow. It simply requires full sun, so a sunny windowsill is a perfect spot. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. It will even tolerate relatively neglectful watering. Potting soil should be well-drained and gravely. This low-grower has succulent square stems that grow soft "teeth" at the edges. It makes for a conversation piece in any fairy garden or miniature garden. Big healthy plant- boomed already
Mine looked like the photo. It had 4 branches and was very well rooted. It was a great looking plant. I repotted it and kept it outside easing it into full sun. I received it on June 1 and it had 4 flower buds 2 weeks later. It bloomed July 2 and there are still buds growing. The plant is branching out in several locations. It is very bizarre looking but a beautiful plant.

It already Bloomed!!
Arrived quickly and well packaged. Already showing growth on one stem! Very pleased! UPDATE: received and planted immediately. A little miracle grow and it showed rapid growth...and to my surprise, I had two blooms within weeks!

In love with a plant?
I’m in love with this plant. After seeing various pictures of the weird flower I knew I had to have one. So far there haven’t been any blooms, but that may be because it’s past flower season for these plants or maybe because I’m watering it too much. Even if it never blooms I love this plant!

Unexpected condition upon arrival
Arrived wrapped in plastic with no pot...roots exposed and dry. Planted it immediately. Hope it survives. Very disappointed!
