This controller takes the cake... "down to the bakery... to see the other cakes." - George Carlin
Really nice grip. The 6 buttons on the right make this controller VERY emulator worthy, whether the emulator would be Sega Genesis/Megadrive, SNES, NES, GB, GBA, N64, Gamecube, or even Playstation. As far as modern games though, I'm not entirely sure if I'd recommend this, if you're mostly used to the r1 and l1 being on the right and left shoulder brackets instead of the place close to the 4 buttons on the right side. It may be an older controller, but it's still very VERY usable.

Great controller for the price
I honestly dont understand what everyone is complaining about. Although I havent had this long enough (I've had it a few weeks) for it to break like everyone else has. But I bought it for play Madden 08 with on PC.It works great.Works great in madden.I love it and I'd recommend it to anyone. The only thing I have a problem with and its not even bad, its that I'd rather them give you two buttons on top (Like R1 and R2 on the playstation controllers) instead of having six buttons on the right side.As for it not working with Madden 2008 I installed all the drivers and it works great.

It's so much fun and enjoyable to use
This is a older controller but still sells and is now way over priced for a new one. I bought it used because new was too much. It's so much fun and enjoyable to use. I like the weight and feel of it. (not to mention the rumble sensation when turned on.Lol ) I bought one before years ago when they first came out. after it broke years later I was missing it badly. I hear some bad reviews on it. I personally love it. my friend owns a couple also. maybe we have mental problems

Awesome gamepad!
This is the best controller that I've ever owned. The one thing you need to be aware of is that if you're too rough on the joysticks or The D pad, it'll break after a long time.

Had since 2002
As the title says I've owned one of these since 2002. But do know that if you need analog triggers, this controller does not have it. However for Nintendo 64 emulation? It's one of the best game pads for it.I used it daily for the better part of a decade, and I wore the thumbsticks out, but the actual stick mechanical parts themselves? No drifting. This is back when they built them good. The digital pad is a little bit mushy, and the red button is for configuration control option settings, but you can also set it as a start button if you want as well.I've always loved the girthy force feedback of this controller. I played a lot of Red Faction 2 and other PlayStation 2 era games with it.

Only good for d-pad, Mediocre joystick.
D-pad is good, but built in vibration does not.joysticks wonky too, I only got it to use d-pad on SF 3rd Strike for PC emu.

Its good but...
Everything is fine and it works great forfighting games but the d-pad falls of afterabout 2 months and the analog stick is nogood for fighting games, models p2600 andp220 have the same problem.

Solid game pad
Bought this pad in 2004 and 5 years later it is still going strong.I use it mostly for driving games, getting the full steering wheel thing is a bit to much for me, and it works pretty well for most occasions.I do miss the trigger buttons of the X-Box controller, so that might be a better way to go, but apart from that this is a very good piece of kit.

briilliant for emulators
This pad is fantastic for emulators.. Works on Windows (requires Saitek CD software to be installed), and works on Linux too (no CD required) .. Couldn't get force feedback to work on Linux ..But the analog sticks are great - more freedom of movement than most.. The only downside is - only 2 shoulders buttons..
