TRFA01 | 5th Gen. Gas Can Fuel Transfer Pump

This thing works great! I use it to fill my boat instead of going to a marina and pay the extra for their gas. Very simple to use, don't have to lift and hold the gas can up for 3-4 mins when this unloads 5 gals in less than 2. Plus it's safer to use since my boat is on a lift and less of a chance of spillage when using the Tera Pump rather than holding a 5 gal can over the side of my boat. It comes with 3 adapters to fit different gas cans, the quality seems great plus it has a overflow safety sensor which will prevent you from overfilling. It takes 4AA batteries so you don't' have to plug anything in or charge something and you don't' have to manually pump something.

When I opened the package my first response was "boy it looks flimsy." I read the instructions and put 4 AA batteries in it and took it over to my tractor. I proceeded to fill a 5 gallon jerry can within 5 minutes. It was a pleasure to drain the gas tank of the tractor being such a pain in the past. I then set the can on the ground and filled my gas tank of my truck with the contents of the can. As long as the hose reaches, you can fill with the nozzle higher than the pump. It may take a little longer. The transfer was uneventful, and I didn't have to worry about scratching my paint with the gas can when I was lifting and pouring at the same time. The auto-stop worked flawlessly and I couldn't see in the can when filling from the tractor. I am sure that this might be a problem for some people because if they try to use it in "other than vertical position" it will trip off as designed. This pump is probably for intermittent use, but for that price I will buy another when this one breaks.

This is amazing product. My wife can fill the riding lawnmower on her own now . My father if was still alive would have been amazed by this . I would recommend this to anyone. What took so long for someone to come out with this. I hope that it lasts for a long time. If you have parents or grandparents who use 5 gallon cans to fill up any type of equipment around the house buy it for them or tell the about it. The automatic stop works great. Have only use a few times. Will update if something happens.

I had initially purchased another version of this pump and returned it because the pump wouldn’t fit through the throat of the gas can; even though the vendor states that the pump works with all standard gas cans. Consequently, I returned the product. I later saw an upgraded version on Amazon and decided to give the product another try. When I tried to test the new version, I found that the same problem with the pump body. It did not fit into the throat of the gas can. I decided to shave down the raised molding inside of the gas can throat. This minor modification allowed the pump body to fit through the gas can throat. Once the pump body was inserted into the gas can, I used the adapter to fasted the other side of the pump to the gas can. I turned on the pump and it worked great. However, not all of the contents were able to be emptied. Minor problem. I especially like the new control panel for operating the pump. I also noticed according to the product description, that a auto shut off feature is included in the pump. I did not get to test this because I did not fill my gas tank in my vehicle at the time. I would recommend the product at this point. It is worth the price and looks like it is a quality product.

Worked great out of the box. The instructions say that the sensor tip needs to be vertical and it really does. Any tilt and the automatic shut off won't work. Need to watch for siphon effect too. Need to take the nozzle out when you are done or keep the gas can lower then the tank being filled even though is say to keep the can can equal to the tank needing filled. Despite those little things its a good product.

The idea is great, but build quality makes the pump an utter WASTE OF MONEY! Cheap plastics & worse than even average Chinese build quality makes this product utterly worthless. I bought THREE of these pumps between Jan & Mar. The 1st one did not work out of the box & SojiTek issued a refund as I put in for a refund on it on time. Based on other +ive reviews of the product, I ordered another 2 pump this time. 1 for me & 1 for my friend. Mine worked great initially, but less than 3 months into it stopped working. Went dead for no reason. It was too late to return it to SojiTek, but here is the kicker... the manufacturer WILL NOT HONOR WARRANTIES unless purchased directly from them. What kind of BS is that? The pump my friend bought never worked right from the beginning. It took FOREVER to pump & died within 2 months. Again outside of Amazon & Sojitek return policy. FYI - tried fresh batteries, multiple time to make sure it was not bad batteries. Buy this product ONLY IF U WANT TO THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY!

When I purchased this product, I had no idea how good it would be! It is by far the BEST product I have ever purchased on Amazon. I thought I was getting the can only - but the automatic pump that came attached, is so easy to use and allows me, a 55 y/o woman to EASILY put gas in all my vehicles, mowers without lifting the can. Prior to using this, I had to ask someone to do it for me. Now I can quickly and easily do it myself! I am so happy with this product and recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone! BEST BUY EVER!

Had this product for almost a year now. Definitely does the job. Can finish a 5g in about 4 minutes. Suction has not gone weaker as I'm making this review. Battery life is about 2 weeks (recommend having rechargeable AA batteries). Depending on the car model, you'll have to adjust to fit the tube in the gas tank. But, it shouldn't be difficult. Also, it does an ok when stops to fill the tank. Sometimes it is a little too late and some of the fuel does go out and spill. And suction does not take all the fuel, so there'll be about 1/4 a galloon left in the fuel tank.

I now have 2 of these. They work fantastic. Auto shutoff works every time. At my age it’s really nice not having to lift a gas can up to fill all my equipment. Saves my shoulders. I have one thats over 3 years old. Still have the second one in the box.

This little pump is amazing and it does everything promised. It pumps much faster than you could pour out of a jug with a spout. I found this on Amazon when I was looking for replacement spouts for my Wedco jugs, which are no longer made. I decided it would be cheaper to buy this pump than to buy enough new jugs to meet my needs. I was worried that the pump wouldn't fit my obsolete Wedco jugs even though it comes with 3 adapters, but fit it did and it pumps like a champ. Rated for 3 gallons a minute and I'm sure that it's at least that fast, although I didn't do a timed test. It also arrived a full week ahead of the estimated arrival date. I don't need spouts anymore!

I bought my first Terapump 4 years ago and it continues to work perfectly. I have just purchased 2 more, one for a buddy and the other for an extra around my home. I use it to fill my boat and PWC at my dock. Never spilled a drop so far. The auto shutoff is super convenient and the unit fits any standard fuel container. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone who wants and easier, cleaner way to fill fuel tanks on whatever vehicle or toy may need filling.

What a great little pump. Portable easy to use auto shut off Living on the lake between watercraft, ATVs tractors and snowmobiles this little gem is in constant use. No spillage when filling on the water no wrestling with jerrycans. Hopefully it’s as durable as it is functional. Once they saw it in action 4 of my neighbours have ordered one and find it the best money they’ve spent in years.

I decided to buy this pump even though I saw some negative reviews. I should have heeded the warning. I installed the pump into my 20 litre container. It worked quite well. After 3 weeks of not using it, I went to use it. Nothing. Didn’t work at all. I checked the batteries, they were fine. I took them out and replaced them with new ones, still nothing. I tapped the switch, I tapped the top, finally I removed the contraption from the tank and hit it….then it started working….. It’s total garbage. After one month it doesn’t work and needs to be hit? DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE *well, I have to say, after hitting it, it has kept on working…even at -18, so I have updated my review to 5 star! Credit where credit is due
