The concrete coated dining table top is 42mm thick and is made of a mix of cement, sand, mesh fibreglass and water that is applied to a wooden MDF core board for internal strength and durability. It is then sealed with a wax sealer to ensure the lasting beauty of the concrete surface. The table top is very durable and is simply cleaned using soap and water. Care instructions are included with the table. Please note that there are natural variations in colour (from lighter to darker grey), texture and imperfections as you would find in a concrete finish. The starburst base frame is very strong and sturdy and is made from 90 x 90mm thick steel box section that has a durable satin black paint finish.
