I've used other brands and this one by far is my favorite. Specifically because the security key fits in and holds in place correctly. Some of the other brands with how it's made the security key won't stay in and it's caused me to lose one before, so from here on out it's Jonard only. Plus I like the orange, and it's a great price from a well trusted brand.

Works well on the 3/8 side but the 7/16 side is too shallow for many types of ground blocks. I bought it specifically for this purpose and found that it is useless for loosening/tightening some types of ground blocks and bonding straps.

Good pedestal can wrench to open and access telco peds and cabinets. Haven't tried it on protector lugs yet, but should be deep socket enough to use on the double nutted grounds. Flats near the handle is handy if a ped bolt is a little stuck and needs coaxing with a open end or adjustable "crescent" wrench.

Buy one and disconnect your neighbor's DSL or land line. I wish I had had one of these when I lived in an apartment building..wink winkThis is a great addition to my tool bucket !

I am currently using it for work right now. Had for about a month or so. This company usually make great Telecom tools which I can easily recommended buying.

Crack pedestals while doing inspections & engineering new fiber routes...work was eventually providing them, but I like have my own tools!

Awesome tool for any cable installer, must have. Opens pedestals, flips and tightens ground blocks, ground holders for mounting, and much more. I just got mine, it's packaged nicely, very professional - I love Jonard tools. Tough, and long lasting.

I really like this tool because it allows me to carry two-less tools in my bag.It's very well built, fits nicely in a 216-tool (can-wrench), and fits snugly so that you won't lose it.If I had my choice, instead of the small payphone security wrench, I would have the 5 sided Purcell security key on that end since I work a lot of cell sites now. That is the only thing keeping this from getting 5-stars.The service was great, this shipping was FAST, the price was good for telecom tools.
