Heartsongs Collection: The Poetry of Mattie J. T. Stepanek

I can't believe that I'm the FIRST to review this unbelievably beautiful CD collection! I seldom buy CD's at all, and this is as far as I know the first ever "book CD" I've listened to. Obviously, it had to have been made by Mattie during the last year or so of his sojourn on the planet, and I don't know quite what I expected. What I experienced was a profound immersion in the actual personality of the young man. I had never seen any of the television interviews of Mattie, and my only awareness of him came as a result of my reading of Jeni's biography "Messenger" less than a month ago. Yet to hear his voice so eloquently reading his own writing had an indescribably blessed effect upon my own spirit. I hope to listen to his readings over and over again. Mattie's voice truly does come from Eternity. What a gift!!

A wonderful inspirational set of poems by a exceptional youngster that was taken too soon. How wonderful if we could all live our lives with the core values of this young boy. Ours was a gift to a 95 year old fan of Mattie. I am sure Mattie is one of the Lord's favorites in Heaven.
