I was grateful for all of the other reviews..one thing I wanted to know but couldn't clearly find out was the length of the chord. It's a little longer than 5 feet. It seems to be well made. It's working well. The box is warm but it shouldn't be a problem. I have it plugged into a surge protector. I will update if anything changes...but I needed a replacement because my apple cord finally broke in half.

It looks like my macbook pro has accepted the power supply and is allowing for charge when powered on. In other cases, with after market power supplies, the supply has worked for a time then mac would reject it unless the device is powered off.Also, as stated in my headline, the power supply doesn't look like the one pictured on the product page. It looks more like an original macbook power supply, minus the apple logo on the side. So you can change out the plug with a longer cord. Other than the appearance, everything looks right. It's a 60W plug that matches the specs of my macbook.Overall, I gave this a 5 because the price is so much better than a mac original power supply. I haven't had it for long, so I'm not sure how it will hold out.Also, it arrived fast from this seller and the packaging was excellent.

My old charger's cable was on its last leg so I decided to get another charger to replace it. This is a great replacement and works exactly like Apple's charger. The MagSafe fits perfectly and looks exactly the same as my old charger. The charging speed is fast and I honestly couldn't tell the difference. One thing to note is that it won't be able to add the extension cable that came with my MacBook as it doesn't have the removable plug. However, I've pretty much never had to use the extension cord, so I don't really mind. The lifetime warranty definitely makes up for it and makes this a really great buy. All in all, this is a great replacement and I'd recommend it.

I wanted a less expensive option to buying a power supply from the manufacturer. This power supply worked as well as the one that came with the laptop.

You can get this charger for 20 bucks here, which is the same wattage as the charger that comes with the MacBook Pros, but Best Buy wants to charge you 80-dollars for virtually the same thing. My dead computer was completely recharged within the hour.

I hadn’t turned on my MacBook for about 2 months until a couple of days ago because my charger broke. When I turned it on I got a notification that my battery is up for replacement soon. I decided to buy a new charger to at least charge it while I’m using it. Turns out that my battery completely went out. As far as I know the charger turned green and worked but my battery is dead.
