I love the weight and feel of these scissors. I'm not a professional groomer, but have always trimmed my poodle mixes. At first, I thought they had sent two straight pairs (because the package was opened/looked like it had been returned previously), but the curved pair is just less curved than the pair I had previously. I like them less curved, a bit easier to handle around the face. Haven't tried the ones for taking out bulk.

Let me start by saying that I am a professional dog groomer and my scissors and tools get alot of use. I am a firm believer in " you get what you pay for" so I was hesitant to order scissors from an unknown name and for such a cheap price but they got good reviews and after speaking to the seller I felt confident giving them a try.They arrived on time and in a very nice case. Sadly I was set 2 straight shears and a curved instead of a straight, curved and a thinning. Once I contacted the seller, they were very apologetic and instantly took care of the problem. I'm very happy with the service I received which matters a lot to me and I will remember when looking for products in the future.Now, to how they work... They are sharp and nicely a lined. I used them to trim ears and feet as a test run and they worked great. They are not as razor sharp or as light weight as professional shears but they are also an 8th of the price and work almost as well! They would make excellent shears for at home groomers who want to maintain their dogs themselves or someone just starting out and can't purchase expensive scissors right away. They also provide a nice selection so you can try several different kinds of scissors and learn your preference.Over all I am very happy with the set and extremely satisfied with the customer service and would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

inexpensive shears for my two schnauzers. Cut thick hair well and appreciated the rounded tip of the scissors. Fit better in my hand than those that came with trimmer. Could be slightly bigger finger and thumb holes. Men groom dogs as well as women and it is nice to have a pair of scissors that are close to fitting my hand.

Unwilling to pay $47.00 + tip for grooming my FIVE POUND TOY POODLE, Izzie.She likes to play in the water, so not a girly-girl.With these tools, can snip and trim my little girl and save the grooming fees!!!Have already paid for themselves by skipping two grooming sessions!!

Don't be fool by the reviewsThe curved scissors hardly made contact with my cat fur. The straight ones worked ok but are not great.They just don't cut.

Good and sharp I do have one set on this kit that was left handed. Overall fabulous for the price.
