Clairol Natural Instincts Demi-Permanent Hair Dye, 7A Dark Cool Blonde Hair Color, Pack of 1

I love this haircolor brand for years, but this particular color is very difficult to find in the stores. I am so glad to have found it on Amazon. Very please with the three pack!

Being a Demi-permanent dye, I didn’t expect it to do anything crazy. I had auburn/strawberry blonde hair with gold ends before and used the Dark Rose color to dilute the gold and keep some red. It gave it slight pink undertones, which I expected and really love. It’s a fun twist on my naturally reddish color hair. My roots weren’t affected too much, but again, it’s a demi dye so not a huge issue.I left it on the upper hair about 20 mins, worked it down to the middle for another 10, then left on my ends for about 5-10 mins as my ends were more porous to begin with. (From previous baby lights bleaching)This product is also extremely gentle. My hair wasn’t dried out much at all, which is shocking as I have fine hair that dries out easily. It kept the shine and softness. Will use again.

It's a very good hair dye. It covered all my mom's gray hair, and it's very gentle on the hair. It doesn't damage the hair and leaves a shiny finish.

Let me begin by saying I have naturally dark blonde hair, and I was hoping that the picture on the box would be the result - not even close. I followed the directions precisely and the results were a dark orange color. It's fantastic that this product is vegan and contains zero ammonia, but my goodness is it false advertising. Just glad I have time to make it to the salon to have my hair corrected before the birthday event I'm attending. THIS WAS NOT A GOOD BUY. 2-3 Shades darker than pictured on the box and warm, NOT cool tones.

I tried twice - I first bought the dark blonde and it did nothing but make my hair shiny. Then I bought this medium cool blonde and it still did nothing but make my hair shiny. I promise that I did it right.. watched videos and followed the instructions. So, just note: this doesn’t change your hair color.I give it 3 stars for being easy to use, ammonia free, non damaging and glossy. I deduct stars for poor marketing.
