Bokomo ProNutro - Banana Cereal (Kosher) 500g

So good!

While the best before date says it’s fine, this tastes and smells expired. In fact my entire kitchen has a strong smell of old packaged food and pretty sure there are weevils. Very disappointing especially as it was a long wait. I am not convinced that the dates on these boxes are genuine.

I grew up eating this and I LOVE it.

Pronutro was the cereal I grew up with

When I lived in Africa we had this cereal for breakfast but it is difficult to locate in America unless you know where to buy it. With my favorite supplier in Canada apparently not selling food from Africa anymore I am happy to say that I found it here which is much more convenient.The expiration date was still good and said 2021. It tastes fresh and I would order it again. What is it? Well it is made from Maize and Soy. Maize is just a type of corn that you eat in Africa. I fondly remember Braaipap.If you are trying to relive some of your childhood memories this cereal will give you a good experience. I blend 1/3 cup ProNutro with 1/2 cup hot milk to make a delicious breakfast. I sometimes also add in some more banana flavoring or even a mashed banana and some extra sugar. The cereal is not the same as always. Smells weird, ground is finer and the taste is awful. I am sure this was tampered with somehow. Cannot return! I am sure this is a scam somehow. DO NOT BUY!!!!

Love this cereal. I have missed it so much since moving back to the U.S. from South Africa. Worth every penny to relive my childhood!!!
