I have never heard of this author until I was searching for log cabin books and stumbled across this one, I was impressed by the number of five star reviews and lovely comments left by people who had purchased it. Well I now join their ranks. There are really good quilt patterns in this book there isn't one of them that I wouldn't like to stitch, they are very clearly explained and beautifully photographed. All of the stages are simply described accompanied by diagrams and it starts with fabric choice and quantity. I liked the emphasis on using up what you have laying around. I think that there is something in this book for every level of ability. I'll probably purchase an extra copy for my sister in law.

I cannot believe how amazing this book is. It is full of incredibly great ideas and makes it all look achievable. So pleased with the purchase. Packaging very sensible and lightweight. Delivery impressively quick.
