Works fine. Slight background noise is normal with these.
This works fine. It has a fairly longer vertical extension before the 90 degree turn, which we need because our front seat SUV 12V is pretty deeply embedded in a sort of cavity. From the bottom of the socket to the bend point is about 3". (To me, this device bigger in person than it looks in pictures.)1. Easy to pair bluetooth - it's device G7 and pairs in half a second on myiPhone BT function (I do have to got into BT and tap it on the phone screen).2. Easy to set radio frequency. Tap CH (channel) and use up down arrows.3. My bet is, any of these devices (whether more expensive or less) will have a little background static. Note that this is less noticeable when you are actually driving (wind noise etc). As the instructions state, turn up the device volume and phone volume and then regulate the vehicle sounds with the vehicle sound control. To turn up the device, hold down the + button for a bit and a volume readout will come on (+0 to +30).4. If you have an incoming call and tap a phone button on top of the device, the second party will come on via the car speakers and your voice will be tracked by a pinhole mic in this device. This device has a few bells and whistle, apparently it will play off a thumb drive or tiny memory card or with a 3.5mm AUX cable. It says it runs on 12V and 24V in the instructions. I wasn't entirely clear from Amazon Website, but the instructions do say that the USB plug you see on the top will both (a) charge a device and (b) act as a thumb drive. That's important because you might often want to charge your phone as a pass-through from the 12 V system via this device.

Great sound quality, well worth the price
I bought this for my mother, she recently purchased an older Durango that came with a deluxe sound system, meaning the radio would be very difficult to replace. But it only had a CD deck, so she couldn't listen to her Spotify in her car anymore. This was the perfect solution. There are many more expensive models out there with lots of neat features, but if you're simply trying to get personal audio to a car stereo, this is a simple and inexpensive option. The sound quality is fantastic, and despite it being mentioned in other reviews, I hear no background noise at all. The noise other reviewers report might be related to radio interference? I used radio-locator.com, which after entering your zip/city, has an unused frequency tool. I highly recommend using it to find the best station for your transmitter.PROS-Inexpensive-Great sound quality, especially for the price-Curved design makes it easy to fit in most cars, if you don't mind the display potentially being oriented weird-Aux cable support, so you can save phone battery by not using BluetoothCONS-The buttons/interface isn't very intuitive, and the instruction manual is a bit of a mess, but it's pretty easy to figure out

No Aux Cord, No Problem!
My friend does not have an aux cord port in his car so we have to listen to homemade CDs and whatever is on the radio. Not an issue but I would prefer to listen to my phone. So I bought this for him. We plugged it in and it was sooo easy to connect my phone. The sound is soooooo good. It sounds better than his regular radio. This little guy works so well. I'm purchasing another one for myself!

Good connection, decent sound quality
The unit connects without any issues. Works well. My only complaint is the sound quality. The mids and highs are way too warm. Even with the treble maxed out on my speakers, the sound is somewhat muffled. Also, it sounds as if the "stereo" signal has been reverted to mono. The connection gets weaker when the car is moving so the audio becomes quieter and the quality deteriorates. If you're not too keen on audio quality, then i would definitely recommend this unit. It connects to my phone without any issue.

It's ok
Good item for the price. (while on sale) there's still some static, but barely audible when playing music.Voice quality is ok, but seems to have it's moments where the caller picks up an echo from your voice.Setting it up was sketchy mostly because the manual is unclear about the multi function button and how to properly use it. Once I figured that out, it connected easily. The display is nice sized and bright and it's not in the way of anything (at least in my truck).

Why didn't I get one earlier!
This is very easy to program and set up the Bluetooth. The sound quality is very good and this is a great value! Easy to answer the phone. I could hear the caller and they could hear me fine. The only negative thing is you can't call someone without dialing using the phone. NOT a problem for me because I just want to listen to my satellite S/XM music and answer if someone needs me!

It’s so nice, I feel like i should have paid more money for it
I loved how it looks like an expensive accessory you have plugged in, rather than a weird extendo radio plug you get at Walmart. The voice of it is really subtle and doesn’t sound like a robot woman. It plays 3 different tones when it’s connecting to your Bluetooth and that was really niceThe sound is clear and there’s no static in the background unless it’s not plugged in all the way.Just choose a Chanel and go to that Chanel on your car radioYou can also change the songs from the device

Doesn't work with my car stereo system
This just flat out doesn't work in my car -- well, I should say it "works" but it works terribly. We did get it tuned to an empty radio channel and my phone's bluetooth did pick it up, but the static from the radio is much louder than any sound the device was able to transmit from the phone; cranking up the volume just made the static louder. It was cheap so I don't feel too badly about it, but just beware that it might not work the way you're hoping it will.

Great little tool
Did everything I hoped. I use it every time I get on my car and it never drops out! Phone calls are easy to answer and loud and clear.

NC MX5 Bluetooth problem solved
The FM transmitter was slim enough to fit my 2008 MX5 and works perfectly with the OEM BOSE stereo system and my iPhone XR. The sound quality is excellent and the bluetooth pairing works seamlessly.
