Multi-Purpose Synthetic Grease

I use this grease for the sprocket and chain of my stand mixer and find that it does a fine job and stays in place well. I only have a dual speed mixer and neither are very fast so I’m not sure if its performance would remain the same at higher speeds. I’ve also used this same grease on refrigerator door seals, the crank mechanism of a citrus juicer and other internal mechanisms of tools in the kitchen. Seems to work well on plastic fittings and helping caps and lids slide on nicely as well. In general this is an excellent food safe grease to use any where a thick synthetic grease could be applied and from a brand most of us know and love!

It’s actually 15.1 oz, so……..bonus I like this grease. I use it on reels.

Bought this to regrease my Kitchen aide mixer. Made the machine run like new. Good price too!

Bought the 14.1 oz tub for $17.82 in Sept 2023. First off, they were a bit generous with mine, as in weighed at about a pound (16oz) when it arrived. IMHO, this is the best all round general use grease you can have at home or work shop. It's good in temps from -45F to 450F. Most home use needs are well within that range. It's not petroleum based so it won't damage plastic over time. It seems like most appliance housings and internal parts are plastic these days. Since it's food grade safe, it can be used when cleaning or repairing mixers, electric can openers, food processors and all those other kitchen gizmos. It's pretty much clear when applied in a thin coat but is white-ish when in a thick glob or layer. If it does discolor, it's things from the environment getting caught in the grease, not the grease itself. I've used it on non-engine car parts, garage tools, door hinges, sewing machines, stereo turn table and tape deck rebuilds. Anyway, that list goes on. This is the go-to grease until you need a special purpose high-temp or super viscosity grease.

Super Lube is the best all-purpose grease I've found, and we're talking a lot of years. It's too expensive to lube your auto suspension or wheel bearings. But it's great for everything around the house and shop. I lube my pocket knives with Super Lube, and it lasts about three years before it all rubs off. But the grease itself doesn't fail. I have some dual-banana speaker connectors that were rattley. So I put some Super Lube on the threads of the binding post, and they're nicely damped now. I put just the thinnest bit on PC chassis covers, where they make contact. Much less struggle! It's safe in the kitchen. It works for drawer guides, hinges (have to take apart the hinge), way better than WD40. Light bulbs sometimes get stuck, but not with a thin coat of Super Lube on the base. And I mean a really thin coat! I also have three 3oz. tubes of Super Lube that I refill using a big syringe. You have to compress the tube first, so there is little air inside. Saves money over buying more 3oz. tubes. Almost all of it wipes off your hands with a rag, so you don't need to wash them right away after using it. I can even use a touchscreen after I just wipe off the Super Lube. It's clear, so invisible.

FILLED BY WEIGHT, NOT VOLUME. So you might have voids, or empty space on top. That doesn't mean they shorted you. I used this for re-greasing a cross cut paper shredder. It had been running slow and jamming often. I tore it apart, and the grease inside was mostly gone and black. So I decided to clean all of it and then reapply. Q-tips worked well to help get each tooth and spread the grease. Reassembled and it ran like brand new. There is plenty left to redo my Kitchen Aide mixer. I'm sure that I will find other small projects to use this for. I am docking a star for the price, as it is high. Granted it will last you a long time, but I feel I overpaid.

It is what it should be. I bought this for the rebuild of a Kitchenaid mixer gear box. I was expecting a full can but there was a lot of airspace, so I weighed it on the kitchen scale. The package doesn't list a weight but the sellers site says 14 oz. My scale showed just under a pound including the can. Works for me. Pic for proof. Clean, smooth, food processing grade grease for a reasonable price especially since there aren't many other options.
