Very simple with added security
If I'm just pulling a trailer down to a friend's house, a normal pin is just fine.However, a trip out of state with a trailer and 2 motorcycles on it, I wanted it to be more secure to prevent worry about the trailer disappearing in the middle of the night. The added security of a locking pin helps with peace of mind.This pin is very easy to use. It has a cotter key just like any other pin. Add in the capability to lock it in place with the lock and it's hard to beat.

Sturdy and Versatile
This is the sturdiest Hitch Lock Pin I have ever owned. In addition, its longer length makes it suitable for a wide range of applications.

One bad boy, looks great, easy to use
The short version - needed a hitch pin that was secured an would fit the 3" receiver on my F350. Kit comes with a matching cotter pin and 5 or so O rings (just so things don't rattle). For my truck, it was a perfect fit with just the pin! Nice cap to keep the road crap out of the lock. Would I buy it again? Absolutely.

Long and easy to use.
I bought this because it stated “extra long” my 2007 Toyota Tundra takes a long pin and many of the others said they wouldn’t fit a Tundra. This one does with only one of the spacers being used. I like the fact that to lock it all you have to do is put it on and push the button, no standing on your head. Although it would be easier without putting the pin in but I guess that is cheap insurance in case you don’t get it locked correctly. The cap seems to fit snug but I think it could be snugger yet, time will tell.

Lasted 7 months with winter months, lock frozen
Had to cut it off. 7 months installed took it off and on a few times but lock froze and could not get to unlock. On the plus size I found the sweet spot to pop it off with 15 sec of grinding that hit the sweet spot to release the lock and not damage the pin.

EASY to unlock!
OMG. I wish I would have found this lock years ago. I can unlock it with one hand. I do not have to struggle with getting it unlocked or locked or in the darn hole. It holds the hitch, it doesn't slide around, the extra rings see to that. AND I can open it up. (An amazing feature while breathing gas fumes!)

2018 tundra TRD sport
Exactly what I was looking for, solid piece and the rubber grommets/pin came in handy. Purchased a curt originally but was too short, this fits perfectly. Installed on 2018 tundra TRD sport.
