Works Great for whole house antenna TV
We cut the cable about a year ago because, well you know why.I wanted antenna TV and I wanted it throughout the house but without having to have multiple set top antennas.I ordered a $45 outdoor HD antenna from Amazon which worked like a charm for the more powerful stations but weaker ones had a tendency to pixelate when run through my 8 port splitter. I ordered this in line, 8 port, amp and fed the antenna directly into it. The outputs go through the house RG6 cabling to all our rooms. I now get about 70 free channels and most are HD. I have no issues with losing signal or pixelation. I got this amp and the antenna for the cost of one month of Sat TV and an afternoon's work. I call that a huge win. very happy.

Good product but didn't help my problem
I bought this for a low signal level from the street drop and it wasn't the right product for that. It worked well for my multidrop configuration but signal levels were still marginal. My configuration requires a unity gain splitter which I didn't realize until I was told by the cable TV technician that came to replace a HDTV set top box that went bad.

Easily Integrates with my TV antenna Distribution System
I have an external High gain TV Antenna and the amplifier is used for a TV distribution system.gain. Excellent for feeding the antenna adapter on my Dish receiver. Dish's antenna input needs a high level input for best performance.The amplifier also feeds 3 other TV sets. This unit replaced a 15 year old commercial amp. The output is greater than the old unit.This is an excellent product for a high performance TV distribution system.

Just what I needed
I have a low voltage guy who takes care of my alarm system and one day I asked him to take a look at my cable TV setup. The signal was not always good through out the house. This is what he recommended as a solution. I have been happy with it so far. I am on an upgraded digital cable setup which has enhanced services. works great.

Very disappointed in the operation of this.
I attempted to configure this splitter in my home networking closet in many different ways. Each time the signal was worse than a much cheaper amplifier. I finally attempted to wire this unit directly to the antenna and then the splitter directly to the receiver on the TV. This splitter actually performed worse than just the antenna directly connected to the TV. Perhaps I had a defective unit, but I decided it would be best to return it before I ran out of time.
