A fantastic quality jigsaw puzzle and very challenging to complete.

The Ravensburger puzzle is a very high-quality puzzle. The colors run true to the pony on the box, the pieces are cut with razor sharp blades (no tearout or hangers-on), the puzzle is thick enough to lock and hold tight, and the finished picture is tight enough and beautiful enough to make them worthy of gluing and framing. HOWEVER...the 1000 piece puzzle is not for the amateur. Many of the pieces are cut with challenge in mind and will just about fit perfectly in more than one location. If you are easily defeated, you will not love the puzzle. If you love figuring out what you might have done wrong, this puzzle is perfect for you. This is the only puzzle maker I have ever done that NEVER is missing pieces! We put them together in a pristine environment which doesn't allow for lost pieces. I have put together numerous puzzles with EXTRA pieces, which is why I know the maker doesn't exercise quality control. Having toured the Ravensburger factory, I see how it is impossible for them to have missing pieces. HIGHLY recommend!!!
