Daytime Shooting Star, Vol. 2 (2)

That’s pretty much the entire theme of this volume. Suzume is slowly, slowly realizing for the first time in her life that she’s crushing pretty hard on her homeroom teacher. Poor thing being all clueless. I’ve been having crushes since kindergarten, so at times I was like get with the program girl. But she’s so withdrawn and used to being left to her own devices that love was never on her radar. We’re getting into the swing of things now though, albeit slowly. We’re seeing a lot more of the side characters from volume one and know that their involvement will be pretty big coming forward. Mamura is my freakin fave!!!! I love his interactions with Suzume!!! They’re everything!!! Oh and teach’s ex makes her appearance 🤮. So yay for some much needed drama lol 😝. Bring on volume 3!!!!

I read this a few years ago but there was no physical copy yet but when I saw that they have it now I knew I had to get it! It’s a love triangle between a girl, her fellow classmate, and her teacher. If you like age gap romance and love triangles this is the manga for you!

I love the story currently bought volume 1-8. Art work is beautiful too and wonderful read.

~4 Stars(Contains light spoilers.)Just as the class is going on a school trip in the wilderness, Suzume is realizing her feelings for Mr. Shishio. It looks like things are going to get complicated with Mamura, though, which I don't appreciate. I love him and Suzume as best friends.We get to know Yuyuka a lot better in this volume, too. She's harsh and rude, and somehow has formed a friendship with Suzume. Her secret mean side has pretty much been blown with everyone at this point, though it doesn't scare people away like she thought it would—or maybe wants it to, now.I really love the group of characters in this series so far. It's only just started, too, and yet I'm completely hooked. Suzume kind of balances things out, I think, between the characters. And I really like both love interests, though I'm leaning hard toward Mr. Shishio for Suzume.I can't wait for the next one.(A review copy was provided by the publisher, VIZ Media, for an honest review. I d'like to also read the remaining books as Kindle edition. For some reason they are not available yet. I hope that they will be available soon. I like the story and the art work.

Love the manga. Book came pretty fast. in great condition! highly recommend reading this!
