IQ Shield Screen Protector Compatible with Google Pixel 3a 5.6 inch (2-Pack)(Case Friendly) Anti-Bubble Clear Film

Not sure why this got so many good reviews, which I should have read more closely. They do not make it evident in the description, that this is a flimsy sticker that you are putting on the front of your phone. It will probably stop scratches, but if the screen hits something, it's still going to break (as was exactly the case in one of the reviews I unfortunately did not read).

The kit provides everything for a successful application - film, lint-free cloth, application spray and squeegee. Also a video tutorial that clearly explains all the steps. My only quibble with the video is the demonstrator seems to use the lint-free cloth to clean the work surface as the first step. That invites contaminating the cloth with dirt and dust before it is used to clean the phone glass - a risk I'd rather not take. My other tip is to run a small personal fan to speed up the evaporation process after the film is applied. Using the fan shortened the time for the trapped liquid to evaporate from an overnight wait to just an hour or so.

Guys, this is the WORST screen protector I ever owned. I'll list the issues:-Does not cover the entire glass of the phone.-Has this weird method of applying a detergent solution on the screen protector while "squeeging" it out.-This gets your phone kinda wet which scares me since it does not have an IP rating for waterproofing.-It just looks dirty after you apply it.-Since it isn't glass you can indent the screen protector with your fingernail if you wanted to.-And applying it BOTH times got microbubbles in the end.Please save your money and headache and do NOT buy this. Just buy a nice glass one like I should have. The ratings swayed me and I thought it wouldn't be bad but oh boy, it was.

Looked at various other protectors but settled on IQ shield based on great brand reviews across more than a handful of their products. The pack brought a spray solution, wiping cloth, squeegee, the 2 protectors films, instructions, and card to claim the warranty.I had never done a wet installation before but I have to admit this is the easiest screen protector installation I have done my whole life. The wet aspect of it really gives you the time to adjust it various times so the final outcome fits perfectly. I was even able to lift the film and re-apply it, before it settled the first time, and still got it to adhere in the right position.Once applied the film itself does not impair visibility at all, I saw no streaks or glares from the multiple angles I tested. It is smooth to the touch, and it basically feels like there is no film at all and you are just tapping on the glass itself.This "case friendly" edition fit perfectly with the cut-outs and gives a little breathing room so your case won't push at the film's side and lift it over time. I placed my Pixel3a with the IQ Shield protector installed in my case and it literally fit like a glove and sat just right from the protector.I would recommend anyone with a Pixel3a to purchase this product or the other IQ Shield 3a protector based on the simple installation, the quality, and the warranty.

I initially was going to leave a bad review thinking the screen protector wasn't cut for this model due to unequal spacing in the speaker cut-out but that's because I overlooked the camera to the right. Oops.Application was easy enough after watching the YouTube video that you can easily search or click on link from the IQ Shield website. It takes a little practice and I did end up using the second screen as the first was unsalvageable.Shipped same day of order and delivered next day. Nice surprise as it was estimated to take over a week.

simple installation without bubbles, just followed the video instruction. Nice scratch guard with cuts to accommodate any back case.

but they really aren't compatible with me, I guess. I really enjoy the feel of these screen protectors. Not necessarily "tacky", but not "slippery" like a tempered screen. Anyways, easy to install, easy to use, kit is well-appointed and comes with everything you need.Note for installation: a thorough cleaning of the screen with alcohol, and application of the screen protector with gloves has always increased my success.

The protective shield was not too difficult to install and looks great. There was no problem installing a case after the shield was in place and had several hours for the adhesive to "dry". I was going to give a lower rating because the speaker gap was too large and off-center. But when I was making the photo above, through the camera screen, I could see a sensor of some sort just right of the speaker! This sensor was basically invisible to the naked eye but clearly visible on the photo, at the right end of the top speaker notch. The phone is a Pixel 3a, which has a fantastic camera. (But that's another review.) It's too soon to talk about robustness but I wanted to get the word out that the notch is not too long (and show-off my new phone's camera!)
