when you buy the best you will always be happy with it.
nice water pack, sweet features, works great, built tough. i added saywer in line filter to it ( had to cut the line) , lost some water pressure but still works great. geigerrig makes there on filter that snaps in flows better pressure, cleans 50 gallons. i chose the saywer because it filters 10000 gallons and comes with a cleaning kit. either one or none its an awsome rig.

Not Ideal For Running
I bought this for use when I go on long runs in the heat. The pressure hose which connects to the valve/bulb frequently pulls apart letting all the pressure out. I have to stop my run to put it back together and pump it back up. I'd say this would be a decent pack for any activity where its not a big deal to stop and fix it (like hiking). But if you are doing something where stopping and putting it back together is an issue (like running or biking), this pack is not ideal.

Works well, need user's manual
Works well, but I really had to figure it out myself and could've used help. The product came without a manual, so I had to search the web for videos on: a) how to fill the reservoir b) how to inflate the reservoir, and get water out of it. c) how to deflate The above tasks are easy, once you know how to do it. The tubes are supposed to be antimicrobial, I did not know that. There is a hydration chamber that connects to a water tube and right behind it is an air chamber where you pump in air to inflate the hydration chamber and make the water flow easily. The design is neat, especially the part where the tubes can be kept clean because you can squirt water into your mouth without having to suck. The tubes can be easily connected, disconnected by pressing the little gray switch where the tubes attach to the reservoir. Once detached, remove the hydration reservoir, and gently slide the top clip off to fill it. Then reconnect the tubes. There is a little knob to the side of the air pump. You need to turn it completely to the right in order for the pump to work and for you to fill air. Once that is done, pump is ready to use. I tried deflating the reservoir after detaching from the tubes. That doesn't work. Deflating has to be done with the air tube still attached. Just press the knob you had turned to the right and the reservoir deflates. I found this video useful: http://www.examiner.com/review/a-geigerrig-hydration-pack-needs-to-be-your-next-gear-purchase-period

the pack was like any other pack out on the market
The pack was supposed to be "new" condition. When it arrived, it was literally covered in dirt. The buckles were significantly worn. Not only was it used, it was missing one of the most important pieces of the pack - the bulb which provides pressure for the pack. This was one of the big selling points for the pack and without this piece, the pack was like any other pack out on the market. So I paid for express shipping to have a hydration pack for a very important race which I ended up not using.

NO Storage
Great Bladder system but no storage for gels, a lamp, or pretty much anything.

Have had mine for a year now and it has held up like a tank
An absolute essential if you're an outdoorsy kind of person. Have had mine for a year now and it has held up like a tank. I go hiking and running with my dog a lot and the pressurized bladder makes it so much easier for us to share water without contaminating the drinking mouth piece (love my dog but I know he puts his tongue in his butt). The bladder holds 2 liters of water which I find to be more than enough if you're out for 2-3 hours depending on the temperature. The pack itself is one of the smallest Geigerrig has to offer and with that, can only hold a limited amount of items. Basically your bare essentials like car keys, cell phone, and wallet. You can probably throw in a tiny first aid kit and a power bar as well, but don't expect to be able to stuff this pack with your life. The interior has several minimalist compartments. On the zipper flap, there is a small zippered net for your little items. All the way to the back, you have a removable plastic back brace to give you a more contoured support when the bladder is pressurized that can double as a snow shovel. In front of that is a large elastic pocket to slip in the bladder to shield your belongings from built up condensation if you've decided to put ice in your bladder. The pack also has two straps for extra security. One that goes across your sternum (chest) and the other across your waist. I find that if I am hiking, just the sternum strap is good enough. However if I am running, I like to use both straps to make sure the pack doesn't keep bouncing around from all of the motion. Definitely recommend this product!

About 80% there; not sure id buy again
Overall, I like this product from the pressurized water to the fabric and design. However, I am not sure that I would buy it again as it is a little bulky for running and isnt durable enough to withstand a light 3mi jog. 1) the pressurized tube always disconnects with the slughtest level of activity. Either the tube is not long enough or the dongel inside the pack that the water clips on to is too long. Its a painful design flaw that renders the packs best feature useless. 2) the chest strap clips rip out. These are clipped to the shoulder straps and not sewn in like a typical performance backpack. But when the clips disconnect, it is impossible to reattach them. 3) internal pocket is mesh and should really be a waterproofed. This pocket was designed for a phone. However mine gets soaked bc i ice down my water. 4) pack is a little bulky I liked this pack and was hoping for the best. But im returning mine.

high quality, works well, doesn't retain air pressure long.
used for marathon training. very high quality construction, lots of excellent little details. surprisingly comfortable to wear. some slight chafing on right side of neck, but that might just be me. my only gripe is there doesn't appear to be ANY retention of pressure mere moments after pumping. that wasn't what i expected. you need to be prepared to pump for every drink, which in hindsight is kind of a drag. but - if the spray/squirt feature appeals to you as it did me, this is a pretty good product.
