Nexus 7 FHD Power Adapter
The ASUS, Nexus 7 FHD Power Adapter is perfect. I am very happy with this purchase. It charges quickly, even while I am using the Nexus. Only thing I would suggest is that they put more detail in their ad to say what FHD means. I was not sure this would work with my Nexus and did a lot of research to try to find out if FHD would be okay with my Nexus 7. I never could find out, but took a chance and bought it. It's working very well, so I am assuming it's okay to use with my Nexus 7. Also, it would be nice to have detail as to how to know if the Nexus 7 is a 2013 model.

It's working - yay!
Man, I tell ya what. These ASUS Nexus Google whatever tablets have a HORRIBLE charger/charging connection. The fit when plugging into the tablet is SO loose. We originally sent back two tablets to have them worked on and to get replacement chargers. The problem continued even after that. We eventually snagged one of these up and were hopeful, but not convinced. I'm so relieved this charger has been working wonderfully and we are planning to purchase another one for our other kiddo's tablet.

Must have
I had no idea that one has to use only the official adapter and cord for the N7. My dog chewed up the cord that came with the device. I started using a cord I had lying around. No dice. Very slow charging. I did some googling, found out that I must use a replacement expressly manufactured for the N7 2013. It makes all the difference in the world. Recharging takes a lot less time. Who knew that there are cords and there are cords. They all look the same to me.

Thinking I knew what I was doing...
I bought this to charge up my nephew's Nexus 7. He "lost" the original charger. Go figure! However, it didn't work. I bought a new replacement battery for the thing and replaced it in the tablet. Still didn't work! Arghh! Turns out, it was the USB port that was bad. I found one of those on EBAY, replaced it and whammo. Everything works now. It's a brand new tablet!Too bad I bought him a new Nexus 7 before I got it figured out! That is one spoiled kid. :)

Cord is just a generic micro USB cord. And ...
Cord is just a generic micro USB cord. And if you're here, I'm sure you know that Nexus 7s are picky about their chargers and anyone won't do. So, while the plug-in is ASUS, or appears to be anyway, the cord is not. At all. And does not work with my Nexus 7 (2013). Plugged in my old (and now still current) Nexus cord to the plug in and it worked. Plugged it into a different plug in and it worked. TL;DR - Cord is not an actual Asus cord and does not work (at least it didn't for me). Plug in appears legitimate.

ASUS "Official" Nexus 7 Power Adapter
It works, but it is a good bit shorter than the original power cord that comes with the Google Nexus 7 I have. Quite a bit shorter - a least 2 feet shorter. Hard to reach a table while it is plugged in unless the table is right over the outlet. It doesn't say the length of the cord in the description, far as I could tell.

Recomiendo Ampliamente
