at first i was really skeptic. was worried the cover would block my front and rear sights, would worry that the cover would pop off when the gun would cycle. But no!! it fits very snug and the material is almost like a grip tight to make it easy to rack the slide and adds a very cool ported like look to the front! also love that the rear area has the same indents that Glock adds to all their firearms. this is honestly a good investment if your looking for a small upgrade to your Glock :D

Nice skin. But, can fit my slide with out making the rear opening for the sights longer as I have the TruGlo Fiberoptics that are longer than standard sights. The cutout for the sights have to be twice as long to fit on the sleeve. Front sight fit fine.

Looks pretty cool on my Glock 19, however, with it on, it doesn't fit in my Tagua paddle holster. :-/

Seems to fit well. Useful for preventing the newer scratch-prone glocks from getting messed up during dry fire and normal use. That's about it. If you are concerned with keeping your glock pristine, perhaps with resale in mind, TacticSkin may be a useful accessory for you. On a working gun, the fact that lower 1/2 of most sights will be blocked by the rather thick "skin, " the interstices, while they increase purchase for racking the slide, will trap debris (and perhaps increase finish wear), that if you use kydex, you'll need to step up to (read: purchase) a wider holster, and finally that on a SD gun it's not a great idea to add extra stuff that could induce a failure when you need reliability the most, doesn't make Tactic Skin a really useful purchase for me. Most people aren't terribly concerned with maintaining the aesthetics of a working glock anyway, and if one want/ needs a more positive grip on the slide, grip tape or even a "brass tacker" charging handle will do the job without necessitating a bulky slide cover and buying a new holster to accommodate it.BUT, if you have a newer newer scratch prone glock (matte gray finish), don't carry it and and want to keep it pretty for future trades etc, it might be a useful tool. it's like putting one of those bras on your expensive sports car to keep the bugs off ; )Other than that, at does help get a better grip on the slide for chambering the first round. But there The manufacturer says you'll have to step up to a wider holster if you use a fitted kydex model, so i mainly have it have always had the reputation of being 'bullet proof,' not only in terms of reliability, but also their black tennifer finish, which even with daily carry, frequent use and less frequent maintenance, always stayed scratch-free and new-looking for years. But times change. Environmental regs forced glock to change the tennifer processes, so that the newer glocks with the charcoal gray (rather than black) slide finish, start showing scratches almost before you get them out of the box. I realize, on a working gun, aesthetics are not important, but given the choice of scratched or unscratched, I'll take the latter.

This makes pulling back the slide SO much easier. And it's not cheap or plastic-y, like how it kind of seems in the photos. It's got a nice texture to it and looks good on my Glock 19.I only wish it would still fit in my old holsters, but on the upside, they are very easy to remove and reinstall whenever needed. I'm glad I decided to give it a try!
