I bought this for an upcoming trip to Tahiti. I wanted to take something highly absorbent, quick drying, and cute. This fits the bill. It really does dry you off and it dries itself quite quickly. Don't get me wrong--I love my regular towels but if you need something lightweight and fast drying, you definitely want this towel. The little drawstring bag it comes in is also a nice touch. I like this because it's so lightweight and it takes up so much less space than a traditional towel.After coming back from my trip I can easily say this was one of the best things I've bought. It was indispensable. I took it on a couple tours. It was also great to wrap around my shoulders during a tour of the Papenoo valley because of the cooling temperatures. And on a glass bottom boat tour with snorkeling stops? Perfect, and nice and dry for the next stop. I loved not having to carry a damp, wet-towel stanky towel around. And it's true. It does not pick up sand like a regular towel. Great if you don't want to bring the beach home in your bags or car! I used it as a shower towel/hair drying towel and was similarly happy. I will TOTALLY use this towel on other trips!

Not gonna lie, it felt odd when I took these towels out of the box. No fluffiness whatsoever and I had my doubts. It turns out though that they soak up water like a sponge and do everything that a good towel is supposed to do. I bought enough for my whole family to use while in our pool, lake etc and they were all pleased. The well made draw string bag that came with each towel is great for carrying sun screen and holding supplies for boating. I’m happy with this purchase.

I don’t write many reviews. I shop on amazon like everyone else, too busy and not enough time to go to stores, too busy sit down and write reviews on things I buy.However I Really really like theses towels. They are very different then regular towels, they are smooth and feel like a very thick sheet. I got the 4 pack even though seemed $$ so we each had one for going to beach or Cedar Point. I washed them in cold water with Tide Pod (no softener) and hung up to dry on bathroom door. They do dry fast and get softer after you wash them. I’ve had ours a few weeks and have washed them several times. They seem well made.They are very absorbent. Sand really does just fall off. I’ve used mine also as a cover up while walking on beach.Best part and this is why I wanted to try them is how compact they are when you fold them up. It is very hard to fit 4 regular beach towels into one back pack. It leaves no more room for anything else. With these, I can put all 4 in bottom of my back pack and have plenty of room for hats, sunscreen, water shoes and what else my family needs for the day.I am gonna order another 4 pack to keep in our camper.Thank You

These towels might be the best money I’ve ever spent. I love them, people probably think I’m selling them out of my trunk because I talk to everyone within a 10 foot radius about them.1. They are so light and fold up really small, like a thick pair of socks small.2. They dry so fast!!! If you’re kids are in the ocean come back covered in sand, soak their towels in sand and water so they can eat a handful of snacks and complain about having reapply sunblock and then run back into the water.... twenty minutes later the towels are dry, sand free LIKE THEY WERE USED!3. So easy to wash, you can wash all 4 towels at the same time along with other items too. There is nothing worse than grabbing a towel from the mountain size ball of towels from the beach and unraveling a piles of sand in your garage floor. NOT THESE TOWELS, they are go into the washing machine dry, and sand free.4. Most importantly they get the sand and water off. Kids are dryer and cleaner when they get in the car!5. They have a cute snap tie that makes them very easy to hang from a beach umbrella.I’m telling you these towels are amazing!!!

I got the four-pack. Two went to my daughter and I kept two. I'm writing this review after we took them on a beach trip. She said that she was a little afraid hers (the brighter colors) would bleed but they washed with no problem. Mine just came out of the dryer and did well, too. It looks like the sewn edge binding is fine. The sand shook off well and they dried quickly. Nice and big, which aids in drying off as well as providing more surface area to lie on. I was initially a little worried about how thin they were but, while using them, realized they're exactly right for how they're advertised and for their purpose. Sometimes it's the little things that add value: each towel has its own drawstring bag which is well made and generously wide enough for a refolded towel to lie perfectly flat in it for packing in a suitcase. (You don't have to guess how to perfectly fold it so it will fit it into a too-small bag!) Overall, a good purchase.

Beware... if you order more than one, they may not all be the same color. I ordered 4 towels. 2 towels are one shade of blue and the other 2 are a different shade of blue. Normally, I wouldn’t complain or care too much, but these are specifically for our boat and I wanted them to all match:(. They seem like they will be great, for not taking up a lot of space, drying out quickly, and being light weight. Once we use them we will see how good the absorbency is.Month later:We are loving the towels themselves. As far as lightweight, drying quick, etc. But I have washed them twice and the corners are already coming apart. Definitely, not the quality I was hoping for, with the price we paid.:(

Love these towels for warm climate. They are super soft and dry you off very quickly. Sand does not stick at all. They dry quickly, as promised. They are thin so they are great for drying off in a warm environment but probably not if you are looking for a towel for warmth. We live in carribean and love them!
