I saw this used at my brother's home to open my niece's jar of lotion when it was totally stuck after a plane ride. I immediately purchased it an had an immediate use for it. Opening a bottle of nail polish. I wasn't sure it wold work as it was very smooth, but it worked like a charm.

I purchased this for my mom because she has arthritis in her hands and struggles when trying to open certain jars etc. while cooking. She called me yesterday to tell me how much it has helped herand to tell me it has made cooking fun again. That says it all. I've had openers like this before and I wanted to give one as a gift.Now I see that they have a new variation where you can pull apart the handles to adjust for a jar that's more than the usual maximum size that my older ones can handle.It also came in a nice box instead of just a wrapper which is nice for a gift.

Good quality products. Rubberized for tighter grip. Will work for most jars and bottles. Great service.

My son ordered me these as I have arthritis in my hands and opening jars & lids has become problematic. These are very handy and helpful and I can open jars & lids now(they don't work on everything some products have lids that are just too large or too small)

Very nice set. We've only used the multi sized unit. It works great. No more sprained wrists trying to open the impossible tight lids we get on our jars. It even opened the small cap on olive oil bottles with ease.

The opener is sturdy and strong. I would recommend buying two of them, one to grip the lid and the other to grip the jar.
