JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Set 4: Diamond Is Unbreakable Part 1 (DVD)

I have given this set 4 Stars out of 5 because unlike the last three sets, it does't include anything substantially new and ditches the 6 collectible art cards featured in past box sets. This new set introduces a wonderful chapter within the Joestar Saga, but charges you the same amount while giving forth less. It also doesn't help that unlike Part 3, Diamond is Unbreakable isn't long enough to warrant splitting the season up into two sets. It's a sad trend that currently plagues the anime home-release market to rake in more money, so to see Viz doing the same to JoJo really stings.EDIT: Even further of deserving its 4-star rating, the disc menus are poorly recycled from the Stardust Crusaders sets. This is evidenced by the sloppy disc icon and main menu music. The music is Jotaro Kujo's theme from Part 3 and not Josuke's. The most damning evidence is the disc icons, which display the discs for Diamond is Unbreakable as "Stardust Crusaders". It's lazy and will hopefully be fixed in the next set.

They made the bottom width half an inch smaller then the last 3 sets meaning it can’t stand on its own, completely ruining my collection, and if you do somehow manage to get it to stand on its own, it can be blown over by lightly blowing on itBut despite that part 4 is an incredible series and I highly recommend it to anyone who thinks they might be interested, and I’ll definitely be buying the next set

This part of Jojo is my personal 2nd favorite. I absolutely love this story. Also, you can tell that the colors and animation look so much better on blu ray than a streaming service. The only reason I am rating this 4/5 instead of 5/5 is the reason others here have talked about. Slowly, it seems the Jojo sets are coming with less and less content. Set 1 had 26 episodes, art cards, and art book. Set 2 and 3 had 24 episodes, art books, and art cards. Set 4 (this set) has 20 episodes, art book, and NO art cards. You can see the boxes, while lined up, get smaller and smaller as they go on, yet Set 4 still costs just as much. Seriously? I'm hoping they at least have the art cards in Set 5.

This set includes three discs containing the first 20 episodes of Diamond is Unbreakable as well as a collector's booklet. This set does not include the art cards as the previous sets have, this makes the case about a quarter inch thinner than the others, but that's fine by me. Please note that these discs ARE in Japanese sub AND English dub despite what previous reviews may say (those reviews were submitted weeks before the product was even released and I'm not sure what information that they were based on, VIZ media's site even clearly stated that this set would be in both Japanese sub and English dub.)

I just received my copy today and I'm very happy to finally have it. It was a little late on arrival, but i was certain that as long as i can have it, it would be fine. Straight out of the shrinkwrap, the box was damaged. I know that this didnt happen in transport because I recieved the second half of the set at the same time and that one was completely undamaged in the envelope. This made me a little upset but i was happy to have it. Then I opened the box to find that the final disc doesnt have any art on it. It just looks like a blank DVD. It still works, sure, but its a bit upsetting that I paid this much money for a misprinted blu ray set.

A Different Adventure, but an entertaining one. Diamond Is Unbreakable has the most unique characters in the show. You'll hardly forget any of them, especially Rohan Kishibe.This one feels more simple but I like it. Sitting back and watching this was increasing and I'll be rewatching Part 4 for a long time.Definitely should buy this, Jojo Fans👍😄

Just got it today brand new, everything looks good except the blu-ray disk case....it seems the plastic piece on the top broke off. No damage on the box, disks, or animation book. A little disappointing but nothing a little glue can fix.

This item was misleading when I browsed it and then purchased it. . . I presumed it would work in the uk. It is apparently in English but when I tried putting it on it didnt work. It didn't clearly state when I was shopping for it that it didnt work in this region. Iv waisted 50 pound.

It’s jojo, need i say more? You wont find a better anything. anywhere. Ever!!Great quality product great packaging but this is a us region dvd so make sure you have a dvd player that can play it.

FIRSTLY THE SERIES+PICTURE QUALITY IS SECOND TO NONE,BUT WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE CONDITION OF THE COPY I RECEIVED,ALL 4 CORNERS WE'RE DENTED+DISK HOLDER WAS BROKE, WAITED 2 WEEKS FOR THIS ASWELL FROM PENNSYLVANIA+ IT COSTED ME £45.

I’ve been looking forward to watching DIU for a while and it’s just as good as expected. The only thing is that you have to make sure you have a multi-region DVD player if you’re in the UK as this is not a Region 2 disc, it’s Region 1.
