To reduce expenses and to help protect the environment, in early 2021 our household started taking a number of measures to cut our energy consumption. Those measures have proven successful: total 2021 electricity consumption in our single-family, detached home in the US SE was about 8,000 kWh (3,200 of which was for HVAC), compared to about 11,000 kWh annual average in previous years.Much of our attention has been on our windows. These are ok. I have similar shades that are made out of fabric. These say they're fabric but feel like paper. Very stiff also. I was disappointed with the interior color. It was a much darker gray than what it showed in pic. - that's ok. They do an EXCELLENT job of darkening the room! We love darkness for sleeping and these shades do it! My other ones don't black-out as well but also allow me to have them closed and still get daylight through them. These DO NOT. If they're down during the day - it's dark.

These were so easy to install, and work exactly as we hoped they would! One shade was a little messed up, had some holes in the material folds, but I used it in one of our less used rooms so it doesn’t bother me like it would if it was in my room. We ordered a total of 7 shades and only one was a little goofy. I would totally buy these again tho.

I’ve purchased several of these now, for myself and for family. The best quality blackout blinds for the price, period.

Love that these look plain white from outside but a nice slate blue color indoors. Really blocks the light out from the kids room!

Easy to Install, only negative, they need to have 1/2" sizes (width) available for better.

I installed two of these cordless shades on the front double doors of our home and both my wife and I were very pleased with the quality and look of the shades. After endlessly searching for cordless shades on line, I discovered these cordless shades that were reasonably priced and looked good. The shades were installed very easily.
