Life Doesn't Frighten Me Hardcover – February 6, 1993

I bought this book because it could be seen on the bookshelves of most individuals interviewed on TV news programs. It is a child's book with significant meanings for all ages.

I ordered this book on 11/1/15 and i got it in the mail on 11/6/15. I bought this book for Fosters of Hope. My life goal is giving back to others around me. We all have different lives and life experiences to deal with. This book is a good read and i would recommend it to everyone. This will make another good reference book for others to borrow and read as well.

My friend has a son who said everything scares him so for his Christmas gift I got him this book and I am so glad that I did. Not only is the book beautiful but after reading and rereading the book he says that he is no longer afraid of anything. His confidence has definitely grown just from reading this book. Plus he reads it all the time. Definitely a very happy with this purchase.

I bought this book for my four-year-old for Christmas. She loves it dearly. She loves the frightening imagery and bravery written in the poem and also the jagged, strange paintings that were chosen to illustrate them.I am not a big fan of Angelou's poetry but this poem is very relevant for most children and it has a lovely repetitive quality. It's also a good candidate for memorization. I would recommend this for any child or adult.

Dope book dope concept.

This is one of my 5 year old son's favorite books! I'm glad to share my love of Maya Angelou with him. It brings me great joy to hear him gleefully running around the house reciting "Life Doesn't Frighten Me."

I took the advise of other reviewers. Instead of directly giving it to my 8 year old granddaugter and making an issue out of it, I left it on my coffee table for her to discover herself. The reading is too easy, but the challenge is to help my granddaughter deal with her fears. I love the book.

The media could not be loaded. This is a book that was an absolute joy to read to my children, when they were little. So when I saw it on Amazon, I had to purchase it to read for my grandson. I’m truly disappointed that I was sold a book from a Michigan Public Library!! I’m a huge supporter of libraries and don’t appreciate receiving a book that someone obviously did NOT return to the library, rather, decided to sell it it on Amazon Great book, but I’ll stick to the bookstores to buy my grandson books and not Amazon. The book gets FIVE stars, but the seller doesn’t get any stars from me.
