WARNE 14B1M CZ Permanently Attached Scope Rings, Solid Steel, Vertically Split, 30 mm, Med Matte

I have to admit, I almost bought the Leupold Rings instead, but I am glad I didn't. These rings are rock solid! By far the most solid mounts I have put on any dovetailed rifle and I own numerous CZs. I would easily recommend them and will be replacing several of the CZ mounts that came on my older models with a comparable Warne.

In short: These are awesome steel rings and will take a beating. The side-to-side clamping design heavily reduces the scope canting that occurs when you torque down the screws on typical top-to-bottom designs. To save some weight, I'd love if they made a 7000 series aluminum version.

Where the halves meet are slightly offset and had to be smoothed out. Other than that very strong and well made.

Warne makes great rings. They fit my rifles perfectly and never come loose, even without using Loctite. The vertical split is a little weird, but the rings are still easy to install - just a little more fiddly than working with rings with horizontal splits.

The Warne rings of this design (they call them Permanent Attachment,) require some care to set-up and install, but there are wonderful instructions on the Warne website and on YouTube to guide you through the process. You will need a torque wrench to do the job correctly. Just install the rings on the scope tube, loosely; install them on the rifle mounting rail, and tighten the lower (rail) screws to lock the rings to the rail. Torque those screws, then start working with the upper (top) screws, after correcting the rotation of the tube and aligning the reticle to square / perpendicular.There are no stronger, more sturdy rings on the market. When I want to mount my scope and eliminate all chance of accidental movement, then these are the rings I choose.

Great solid rings for mounting a 30mm scope on a CZ527. Warne rings are high quality at a good price.
