This carb. was easy to install, and with a minor adjust in mixture, my pump was again behaving like it's old self and dependable. Many of these small carbs. aren't rebuildable from the pressed in brass slugs that contain a neoprene valve, that expands from the crap gas we now get. So use rec. gas for best life. For the price, no sense in rebuilding anyway.

With just a little bit of modifiaction to the cable bracket. This perfectly fit a Shimaha Trimmer / Brush Cutter.

If you really want a good carburetor and some extra power bulbs, this is where to go. I don't recommend the spark plug though

Had to reuse the existing grommet because my PAS280 had 3 lines, also had to swap throttle brackets, but flushed fuel tank and new gas and revived a powerhead that has been in my storage box for 10 years.

Came with everything as presented. Including new fuel lines.The new gas plug leaks a little. But is easily fixed with sealant. FYI , only two holes in the rubber plug. No vent tube. Easily fixable. Compare price of OEM echo carburetor at $109.

I *only* said "near-perfect" because the fitting into the fuel tank had only 2 lines and the original had a third for guard against vacuum in the fuel tank. Nothing some creative mechanical mind couldn't overcome with a drill and a tiny bit of effort. Money well spent!

I got the carburetor..but that's all. The gasket,sparkplug, fuel lines and filter and primer bulbs were not in the box. I double checked my order and yes it was all supposed to be included but it wasn't.

My Echo BRD-280 bed redefiner was running poorly due to a gummed up or poorly tuned carburetor. I installed this carburetor in place of the Walbro factory carburetor. The installation was easy and the redefiner started easily and ran well on first use.
