Stop Finger Sucking with Hearts & Stripes (Ages 4+ Years Old)

We had great success with this glove with our 6 year old who sucked 2 fingers. She beat the habit in 3 days. It was easy and comfortable for her to wear so she kept it on. She was motivated to stop and this just provided a physical reminder. I’m not sure if the results would have been as good if she was younger, as it is easy to remove

Value is low because these are so expensive for what they truly are. Somewhat effective but my daughter would remove it or “lose her glove” if she wanted to continue her habit.

Most likely you are looking at this because you have been unable to break your child's habit of finger sucking. To be fair, my daughter is fairly strong willed. The first problem is that it was difficult to make sure she was always wearing it. The second problem was when wearing the gloves, she simply changed fingers. The bottom line, I think just a plain ordinary pair of gloves would be just as effective. If it doesn't work, this most likely won't either.

Didn't help. Sad too because not cheap. Kid just took them off. You want a real solution that worked for my daughter better than the nail polish and these silly things. Take your kid to the dentist and have her stick out their hand with those favorite two fingers out and hold them in your left hand. Have the dentist hand you the teeth blocks with the bite device on them in your right hand. Then explain that they will be on there for a year and no matter how much they beg to take off that you can't till after their next birthday. Then wrap the bite molds with device around the top and bottom of fingers. Then slowly start pressing down until they wince. Then ask does that hurt? Please don't break your kids fingers this is only suppose to simulate them doing it.My daughter who was at her 4 th check up has not put her finger in her mouth since and she just turned 5.

I was not sure if this would work but pleasantly it did!My daughter is 22 months old, I waited two months to see the full results of this product and two write a reliable review.I ordered this when she was 22 months old and she had started sucking her fingers when she was 9 months old. It became so severe that her teeth were pushed out and she had little corns on her fingers. She only soothe herself by sucking her finger at night or when she was hungry. Regardless I got this I think in a week or so and it did come with a toy so she was happy about it. I made it sound like this is a beautiful thing and it will make her special her she wears it. I put it on her before her Nap time in the afternoon and soon fell asleep without sucking her finger. And then the after a week I started taking it off first thing in the morning and a day or two, after she fell asleep. And with in two weeks she was free any impulsive finger sucking. It makes me feel so happy that I fixed this issue before it was too late. Now even her teeth and lips don't look pushed out.

Love the idea just to big and I purchased the small. I recommend them for anyone who has a finger sucker.

The gloves are amazing; but the seller is awful! They did not fulfill the entire order. My daughter was super excited about the plush toy *prize* for when she wears the gloves with no fuss. The plush didn’t come. After several days of reaching out, I finally contacted Amazon. The seller still has not replied back. Now I have to go spend even more money on a new plush for my girl.

It didn't work for my 5 year old because she sucked on the glove like it wasn't even there. Also, the seams started to unravel within the first few days of use.
