Philips SHE8500 Red Extra Bass Earbuds Noise Isolating Stereo In-Ear Headphones (SHE8500RD)

I ordered these as a replacement for Philips SHE6000 headphones, since those were discontinued and these were recommended by Amazon as similar. I figured I would be taking some kind of hit when it came to the sound quality, but the sound in these is pretty much atrocious. Extremely tinny, but does deliver some bass. Music sounds awful in them, but for spoken word things it's okay. They are comfortable. You hear every single. movement. your ear makes through cord transfer. I can't wait to replace these with something else. Philips clearly had something going with the SHE6000 model, but apparently they hate their better quality headphones, because they discontinue all of them.

Awesome Headphones. Best sound quality earbuds I have ever heard. Studio quality sound!!! Like them so much I bought two pair just to have a spare set.

These are ok mids and highs are resonable clear, but the bass is very challenged. The piece of music that I use to test all my earbuds is Toccata by Mannheim Steamroller from the Fresh Aire III album. These distort very badly on that piece of music. Will continue to look for better buds.

The cords are thinner than I thought they would be. Pretty nice headphones for the price.

Bass was OK, but great headphones for the price

for the price isn't enough good. the sound is good, but the materials seems fragile and low quality. I have already buyed another philiphs earphones at similar price and expected better quality
