Great battery. Fits my old Site SMB601 drill
I needed a new battery for my 10 year old Site SMB601 drill. ("Site" was a cheaper alternative brand name that Makita used back then). Google search could not find any batteries for it. So I searched for Makita ones and this one looked almost identical. I took a gamble and purchased it. It arrived really quickly. It fits the drill and charger and charged up really quickly. Best thing is that it has almost three times the capacity of the original and being Ni-MH will not suffer from the Ni-Cad memory and discharge problems.

last longer than 2 of the OEM batteries
I bought this to replace the OEMs that were losing charge, but this one is better than two OEMs when they were brand new. The OEMs were only 1.4Ah to start with so this 3.5Ah is spot on. Fits as direct replacement, smart charger recognises it, so all good. highly recommend

Very good product they last longer than original batteries but we ordered 2 and 1 you have to plug in and unplug and plug back in to get it to start charging

A brilliant replacement for old nickel cadmium batteries. It holds it's charge for ages

Fits and works fine
Don't know yet about longevity. I've had the drill over 10 years and the first two batteries are just worn out.Works fine though so looks good so far.

Seems powerful perfect fit holds good charge will test it for a few weeks if all good will definitely buy again
